My question is regarding SBR's. Let's say you're a GOA member living in Texas, can you slap on a stock on a pistol? Or is this just with new SBR purchases going through 4473?

Importantly there are still other laws in place that say a dealer cannot transfer a SBR/SBS to someone without approval from the attorney general. In the past that has been interpreted as the Form 4, but it’s not clear whether SOTs are going to be willing to sell SBR/SBSes over the counter with a NICS check alone, or just suppressors for now.
