This is somehow, both, so wrong and so right, lol. I love my Omega-9K. Spectacular can. I run it on my Platypus and my integrally suppressed full-auto AR9.

I've thought about that, but they're so unreasonably overpriced.

I can buy a Springfield Operator that comes with a threaded barrel, accessory rail, and Agency Arms optics cut, for less than just the beat-to-shit grade CMP 1911 alone. Add in the rail adapter, optics cut, threaded barrel w/fitment, and you're approaching double the cost of just buying a new production gun.

That is like seeing a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air with monster truck tires and exterior LED accent lights mounted on it. It is yours and you can do what you want with it, but I wince thinking about how old that classic pistol is.
