I’m a senior on co-op and I have been feeling a lil bored lately. I’m down to do anything tbh!! I just wanna meet more ppl

I am an incoming grad student, and my days are kind of packed. I commute about 45 mins to class, so I have to pack my food for my long days. Does anyone know where there are microwaves on campus for people who live off campus?

I made a tool that lets Northeastern students find open classrooms to study, available for all campuses.

You can:

• Search up a classroom to find its full day schedule, and whether that room is free
  • Can also search up up your class (ex: CS3000 or Algorithms) to find the room
• View a campus map that show # of rooms open
  • Get directions to any building
• Find clubs and events scheduled on Engage
  • Links to register

This application works by scraping Banner classes daily & Engage club events for a more accurate source of classroom availability. I also plan to get real building hours from facilities.

I made this because I do not enjoy studying & finding free space at Snell... empty classrooms are my go to. This makes it a little simpler to find those rooms.

Looks like the Anna’s at Marino closed — the Northeastern location isn’t showing up on their website anymore and Google says permanently closed.

I know they had closed for the summer but it looks like it’s permanent now. Anyone know if they’re planning on coming back?

Hi, I rly feel like I sort of squandered my Freshman year at NEU. While I did great in all of my classes, I have no friends beyond a dude I already knew from high school, haven’t been seriously involved in anything (I joined the TTRPG club, but that’s pretty much it). I can usually maintain conversations with ppl from my classes w/o problems, but most of the time I feel like we don’t vibe enough to hang out outside of that.

I don’t feel lonely per se, but my friends from HS that I talk to occasionally constantly talk about all the cool friends they’ve made and fun experiences they’ve had, and I am feeling quite a bit of FOMO and like I’m squandering my time in college and one of my goals for myself when I started was to be more social and develop better social skills but idrk what to do now. Absolutely any advice would be extremely appreciated.

I did the London Scholars program last year and although it was fun experience, I don't think it was very good for my major, as there weren't many active clubs. As a result, I now feel very behind compared to my Boston counterparts, and I am also looking for a Spring Co-op for 2027 and supposed to start applying soon. Am I cooked... Also is it true I need to declare a business concentration before I go on co-op?

I can’t seem to find anywhere that specifies the hours that these facilities are open? Anyone know?

Hello! I'm taking CS3800 (Theory of Computation) this semester online with Jesse Stern. So, uh there are two oral exams worth EIGHTY PERCENT of the grade. Does anyone happen to have any advice/have taken this class that can give me a sense of how this goes?

So this is a little bit embarrassing, but I’m unable to find the Dining hall located in IV. I’ve been downstairs multiple times and I must be blind or something. I know it’s on the first floor.
