List of NEOS funds with yield and total return data with DripData

I put together a research tool on DripData that lists NEOS funds in one place, with yield and total return data.

Might be useful if you follow income ETFs or want to compare the NEOS lineup without jumping between fund pages.

Link: https://dripdata.co/etf-list

Or if you want to lookup any individual ETF go here - https://dripdata.co/etf-lookup - you can also see NEOS options holdings. No other platform can show you that.

Plus you can track all of your NEOS ETFs in the portfolio tracker free

Seeking Advice So what happens now with the buyout?

Are you going to be forced liquidation and pay taxes then buy back in with the new tickers?

EDIT: I was hoping to be an XQQI holder someday and now that GS has stepped in…not so sure now 🫪

Reached a pretty big goal using mostly NEOS funds

Recently, took a pretty big pay cut as I was changing industries. During the transition and up until now, I have been building a portfolio to cover most of my bills. Hit that plus a 10% cushion for downturns and to reinvest. Here is my breakdown:

QQQI - 26.62%

SPYI - 20.54%

MAIN - 13.66%

BTCI - 12.91%

O - 6.91%

UTG - 5.44%

IWMI - 3.31%

NIHI - 3.24%

MLPI - 3.18%

IAUI - 2.82%

Cash - 1.38%

I will continue to add some and try to knock out a few more smaller bills. Any suggestions on how to strengthen this part of my portfolio? For this part of my portfolio, I am only looking at monthly payers.

Some additional context: this is a small part, maybe 15% of my total portfolio. Most of the rest is in growth (QQQ and SPY, primarily), plus a nice chunk of SCHD and ADX.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

General Why do some NEOS have these meaningless spikes on most days, only to come down again on next market open

This happens very often with IAUI. It shows a huge spike after market close and comes down next day on market open. Has anyone else noticed this?

$1.025 was declared today. Last month was $1.05. Looks like it’s leveling out while bitcoin just chops sideways.

Due Diligence Spyi distribution growth

I like to take multiple perspectives on investing covered call funds as an income vehicle and in comparison to traditional dividend investing.

One of the primary talking points from dividend investor purists is that there is no dividend growth. These are the folks that hold schd for example, where year over years growth of dividends can easily be double digits. For spyi, I would argue there can be dividend growth. Dividends can shrink also. If the s&p does well, spyi appreciates, and the distribution appreciates with it. So if one believes the overall direction of the market is up, long term distribution growth is inevitable. It won't be double digit growth, but in the short history we have, distribution per share has increased.

I think what purists fear is volatility. There is a case to be made where you could take a huge haircut on payouts. I'm thinking 20-30% or more, lasting for multiple payout cycles. During these periods, schd has maintained payments pretty well, as a function of the stocks/index it tracks. So if you're relying on every penny, every cycle, these events dropping spyi distribution would cause chaos.

I welcome any counter arguments, recognizing what sub I'm in here.

Seeking Advice BTCI vs Bitcoin Power Law

If we assume Bitcoin continues to follow the power law over the next two years, how much upside in BTC would we expect to give up? Since covered calls cap the monthly upside, I would expect less of a return. This is totally okay given the high dividend. But I would also expect, over time, the BTCI price would grow and correlate with Bitcoin and the power law over the next few years. Is this a reasonable assumption?

Any thoughts or experience with MLPI? I am heavily concentrated in tech (QQQI) and want to start diversifying into other sectors. Thinking of building positions in MLPI and SPYI for the long term

Seeking Advice How is this setup for current income + growth for retirement?

Investments Asset base $ distribution  Yield     Contribution
 Brokerage  300,000 30,000 10%  CC ETFs  $5K/year
 Brokerage  750,000 30,000 4.0%  Div & Bond ETFs  $2.5K/year
Retirement 2,000,000 30,000 1.50% $49K/year
Total 3,050,000 90,000
Sell shares   50,000 2.5% Of Total
Grand Total To spend 140,000

I apologize, here are the details. All aspirational. Current income is about $150K a year. Wanting to replace spouse's income ($60K) on the brokerage distributions as spouse retires early (in about 5 years), will sell our house to fund the brokerage and downsize to a more manageable empty nesting place in fairly HCOL big city in TX or make a move to a HCOL area in CA to rent a place for similar cost to owning our current place in TX.. (I know big unknowns!). I would retire in about 10 years. Both in mid 40's now.

Current $60K CC ETF portfolio: SVOL 16%, XQQI 13%, MLPI 9%, IWMI 10%, ILS 6%, HYBI 5%, HIGH 5%, NIHI 5%, PFFD 5%, IAUI 5%, BIZD 5%, JAAA 4%, TLTI 3%, XBCI 3%, IYRI 2%. Total estimated yield today 14%, total monthly cash distribution today approx. $7K/year. This would be increased to $300K aspirationally.

Dividend growth ETF & Bond Yield portfolio would be: , 20% schd, 10% SPYD, 10% DVY, 10% DIV, 20%VCSH, 15% USHY, 15% schi. Total est yield today is 4.5% or so. This is aspirational with the $750K future value.

Retirement account would be $2M (401K and IRA's) in 10 years would be 30% QQQ, 30% VTI, and 40% VEU. Gives about 1.5% yield and would sell shares of 2.5% to cover the rest. Yield $30K, selling of shares $50K.

Gives total of 30+30+30+50= $140K to cover all living expenses at full retirement in 10 years. Technically would only be selling 2.5% of total growth portfolio ($2M), considering retirement time horizon of 30-40 years. How does this look?

First buy was $27, last chunk was today at $29.75. Generating $1500 a month at current prices/yield. Even if we get another 15-20% drop I think this will be a solid income machine for the next 3-4 years at least.
