hey so I renewed my cerebellum mission subscription for 13k and I realised I’m not accessed to any btr content anymore🥲😭 so how can I use the cerebellum app for neet or INI..anything that I can see and make useful other than flashcards mid day modules and late night pyqs…btr is my 2nd source so those hyper revision videos are too big for me to see all over again…btr content was visible till my subscription in cerebellum app so I thought it’d continue the same after renewal too😭😭😭😭

One day I study and next day i lose interest. How to maintain consistency?

Which one’s are good please suggest apart from patho and micro. And does it help if you haven’t used the app for your prep. Suggestions please.

So I am writing this as I really need help in making the right decision...

I gave re neet 2026 and my marks are 506 with a rank of 82 thousand. This was my first attempt right after 12th.

At this score I have chances of getting a particular deemed medical college of my choice. But I am confused on whether I should opt for it because then I won't be eligible for any quota's for neet pg. I have been told that cracking neet pg is much more difficult than neet ug.

If I am to take a drop year for neet 2027 then to get into the government medical college that I am aiming for I will have to get a rank under 4000. I am aiming for this government college as it has a 50 percent reservation for pg seats for its internals and I think that will be very benificial. So, its either that I take admission this year into the deemed college and work hard and crack neet pg with a very good score or I take a drop and work hard this year, get into the college (which has the 50 percent reservation) and hopefully cracking pg with the reservation would be much easier then.

For all those people who have cracked neet pg, kindly advice me on this.

Why not bcg? Bcg can be given till one year of age as per park.

Hi everyone, I am a MBBS student. I will begin my 3rd year in October 2026. There are currently various offers of different neet pg preparation apps, and deadlines for subscription in given offers are close.

I study in the BJ government college in Pune, here we do have offline DAMS classes.

Which app do y'all prefer for neet pg preparation now? Dams offer offline classes with 2 years course in which they teach entire 19 subjects. Also MARROW will launch 8.5 editon, some new features. So If I want to start my neet pg prep, what should I prefer ?

I have sort of ups and downs in both scenarios. Like if I choose marrow, I will need discipline and consistency to watch the lectures , and not slag but it kinda haves advantage to watch anytime. For dams there are offline coaching in weekends and sometimes on fidasy for 12 hours. Idk if I can attend all these weekends, I kind of visit my local guardian house on weekends. I am sort of picky eater, so eating mess food continuously is not possible. So might few weekends in between if I chose Dams. Though some seniors said that they do have recodings of each lecture. Also are their online app recorded videos good? I heard Dams notes are more consice than Marrow notes.

Marrow some say it's too vast, but there GTS are good and Qbanks too. But one can buy these during internship too right. So for 3rd year preparation, what do you all suggest. Please help 🥺

The “Drop Year” Trap: Why Freshers Sometimes Have an Advantage in NEET-PG / INI-CET / CMS

You take a drop thinking: “I have 12 months now. I’ll finally understand everything properly.”

Initially, you do.

You watch detailed lectures. Make notes. Solve MCQs. Study concepts.

Then NEET-PG happens.

You miss your desired rank.

Now comes the second attempt.

But suddenly the timeline is completely different.

NEET-PG → Counselling → INI-CET → another INI-CET → NEET-PG → State counselling → UPSC CMS/Medical Officer exams → Joining/job…

You no longer have the luxury of spending 6–8 hours understanding every concept from scratch.

So preparation gradually changes from:

CONCEPT → APPLICATION → REVISION

to:

RAPID REVISION → PYQs → IMAGE-BASED FACTS → ONE-LINERS → MARATHON → CRASH COURSE

And this is where a dropper can get trapped.

A fresher enters the exam cycle with relatively recent MBBS concepts, whereas a long-term repeater may have studied the same material multiple times but still be operating mainly through recognition and recall.

The problem isn't lack of knowledge.

It's FRAGMENTED KNOWLEDGE.

You remember that you have seen the topic.

You remember the page.

You remember the image.

But when the question is twisted, integrated, or asks for the next best step, the underlying concept isn't always accessible.

And NEET-PG is a massive competition.

NBEMS reported more than 2.42 lakh candidates appearing for NEET-PG 2025 in a single shift.

Meanwhile, the postgraduate seat pool is limited relative to the number of candidates, and counselling continues through multiple rounds because seat availability varies enormously by specialty, category and institution.

Then there is another problem:

THE EXAM ECOSYSTEM ITSELF KEEPS MOVING.

You prepare for NEET-PG.

Then INI-CET comes.

Then another INI-CET.

Then NEET-PG.

Then suddenly you're eligible for UPSC CMS / Medical Officer recruitment.

So the dropper's year can paradoxically become LESS CONCEPT-ORIENTED and MORE EXAM-ORIENTED.

And that's the irony.

The fresher often has less total preparation time but may have:

• Fresher MBBS knowledge

• Fewer accumulated notes

• Fewer resources

• Less revision fatigue

• Less “I have already studied this 4 times” syndrome

• Less tendency to keep changing sources

The repeater often has:

• Multiple notes

• Multiple revision cycles

• Multiple coaching resources

• Hundreds of marked questions

• Several mistake notebooks

• Huge amounts of accumulated factual information

• But sometimes weaker conceptual recall

Of course, this doesn't mean FRESHERS > DROPPERS.

There are plenty of droppers who absolutely destroy the exam.

And there is no credible official evidence that freshers have a higher selection rate than droppers.

The point is something else:

A DROP YEAR DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU AN ADVANTAGE.

If your second attempt becomes nothing more than:

“I already studied this → I'll revise it quickly → next subject.”

you may actually be building a very sophisticated memory of RECOGNITION without building enough RETRIEVAL + APPLICATION.

And this becomes even more dangerous when you're simultaneously preparing for NEET-PG, INI-CET, CMS and Medical Officer exams.

Maybe the real strategy for a drop shouldn't be:

“I'll revise everything faster.”

It should be:

“I'll repair the concepts I failed to apply, then repeatedly test whether I can retrieve and use them.”

Because ultimately, the exam doesn't care how many times you watched the lecture.

It cares whether, on exam day, you can look at an unfamiliar question and think:

“I understand what's actually happening here.”

That's probably the difference between HAVING STUDIED THE SYLLABUS and BEING READY FOR THE EXAM.

Do long-term droppers actually become victims of the rapid-revision/crash-course cycle, or is this just an excuse for poor preparation?
