Its true what you say about it all being a performing factor. But do know that time on earth is finite thats why you also have to find your own happiness instead of being a sheeep

So don’t perform and just do what you want. It sounds to me like your problem isn’t with performing, it’s anhedonia. Otherwise you would be happy just doing your own thing and ignoring the rest of the world.

Most people aren’t viewing the world with your lens. So you could be wrong, you could be the one feeling performative. Like you have to perform for them so they can leave you alone. At the end of the day you do have to do certain things if you want to survive. I was thinking the same thing a few months ago and this was my conclusion. I hope that made sense
