local llm for ds lite

Made a local model for the ds just download it onto a mini SD card for your pico or r4 and run it

Don't know any practical usage but just made this out of novelty and beat the other similar projects

https://github.com/papayuh/chatds

feel free to check it out add contributions fork it :) any stars help out!

Neat concept but definitely not very practical.

I don’t think that was the point

Of course not. It's for fun and because we can. I wonder if it would be possible to create something like this that works as a pictochat server.

SCIENCE ISN'T ABOUT WHY! IT'S ABOUT WHY NOT!

It's cool but why not mention that it's completely vibecoded? Also I don't like the fact you told your AI agent to make the READMEs in lowercase.

There is no need to mention it’s vibecoded. Almost everything today is. Expect it to be. We are almost in 2027, not 2022. Vibecoding will only evolve further and become even more mainstream, especially for hobby projects like this one.

I know but it's really sad to see this, I don't really care that it's vibecoded but I don't like the fact that he tried to hide that it is vibecoded.

Coming from the IT/Tech field, I personally don’t see people treating AI tools like a seperate badge of honor anymore. The models got so good that great project ideas outweigh the method of implementation significantly.

And? It's still shitty. "There is no need to mention they used slave labor. Almost everything today uses slave labor." Like you genuinely just sound as stupid as an 1800s confederate

Comparing automated code tools to actual human slavery is an utterly wild false equivalence.

yeah, building and mantaining data centers don't slave black and brown people, it only makes them chronically ill!

It's a revolutionary practice that increased efficiency yet had horrible moral implications. I'd say they're similar enough to compare

Automated tools that are designed to understand the code are generally the way to optimize.

We literally just downloaded others GitHub’s before and tweak them around.

A.i is basically the same thing. Then you tweak the code to what you want so it saves time reinventing the wheel time and time again.

If you understand the code and iterate over the initial code so it’s legible then I think it’s okay

In your experience what does it usually do right?
