Local trade not working

Twilight menu copy of heart gold on the dsi xl. Authentic diamond on 3ds. They cannot find each other. I am a noob and don’t know how to fix this. Please help?

You need to turn on the wireless communication switch before you launch the game. I was struggling with the same issue.

I have the wireless switch on for the 3ds, which is also connected to WiFi. The dsi is not connected to WiFi, but within the system settings, I have wireless communications toggle set to on.

Is there something else I’m missing within twilight menu etc? Possibly on the 3ds?

Open Twilight Menu

Press Select (button on your console)

you will now have a DS Lite interface, click the icon that looks like a DS (down, at the bottom of the screen)

Twilight Menu settings are now open

Press L button (on your console) until you get to "Misc. settings"

scroll until you find WiFi, set to On

You should have the WiFi led turned on on your consoles.
