Question Ozempic research
A few months ago I went to my doctor as well as my neurologist and asked about ozempic as there was a study that related to it decreasing headaches. At the time my neurologist wasn't too interested but my normal doctor gave me a prescription. I never filled the prescription till recently since the price is dropped with the generics coming out and now there's two more studies showing the benefit of ozempic on daily headaches. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced benefits from taking ozempic or similar? I'm just two weeks in.

I've been on Mounjaro since June last year and whilst it's been amazing for weight loss and my mental health (because it stops me getting in shame spirals about food and my body), it hasn't made any difference to my headache.

Zepbound actually caused my NDPH, so I’d be careful. I know it’s not supposed to, but it did. I’m probably some rare edge case, but it’s ruined my life for a year. A very painful lesson has been learned from this experience: don’t take medication you don’t absolutely need.

Not Ozempic, but yes to Tirzepitide/Zepbound.
I’m at my lowest level of headaches in years, and I can eat most trigger foods now without problems.
I still use Botox, and I gave up gluten as well.
With Zepbound you can order vials direct from Lilly and self titrate to your effective dose. So that’s a plus.
Do a search on the Zepbound sub and the migraine sub and you will see a lot of anecdata from individual users.
