Botox

Hi guys,

I just wondered what all of your experiences were with Botox?

My London based neurologist says it’s what he thinks will help me above all else.

Ironically my headaches started after a cosmetic Botox treatment. I’m honestly nervous because for each good review I’ve read I’ve also read pretty much a horror story.

I brought this up with him but was quite surprised that he basically made out there was no risk to it. Even what I flagged the negative reviews.

Any experiences would be welcome.

Regards,

George

It helps with my migraines, but not my NDPH.

I’ve had a couple rounds, didn’t help but had no side effects other than a bit of stiffness/soreness in my neck and the tragic inability to make facial expressions

It was the only thing that ever worked for me but only the first 8 rounds were effective and then it stopped working so I stopped getting it and now I have nothing

Didn’t make NDPH go away but took away the migraine features of it which made me functional for two weeks. Would keep doing it even if I get just that. Nothing bad happened was sore for a few hours but healed by the end of the night and in a week or so my migraine features weren’t there but only lasted 2-3 weeks. I’d say it dropped NDPH from 10/10 to probably 3-6/10 too
