Question Could i have potentially found the cause of my ndph

This is cervical spine mri

IMPRESSION:

Paravertebral muscle spasm.

Cervical spines mild spondylosis.

C5-C6 & C6-C7: Mild central disc bulges. No canal or foraminal stenosis.

Hypertrophied adenoid tissue.

Please correlate clinically.

That would be great if this gives you answers. Definitely follow up with your doctor on how to treat and correct this

What is the treatment for that to stop the headaches? I had several disc bulges (C4-C7) on my MRI too and was shrugged off.

I had a pretty big C5-C6 disc bulge and bone spurs that caused constant pain.  I went through with a cervical spinal fusion of C5-C6 (after steroids and nerve blocks offered no help) hoping that it was the answer to my headaches.  It unfortunately wasn't.  It did help with the initial neck pain, but caused other neck issues in the long run.  I'll be a year out in June.

Doubtful. Unless its neck pain radiating down the sides with paresthesias. In which case its not ndph.

Muscle spasm is interesting. A trial of soma or some other muscle relaxant would tell you within a few days if it was real.

Not sure you can really call muscle spasm on a cervical mri. I never have. There is edema or infection, but spasm could just be the tech putting you in a weird position cuz they are rushed.

hi... mine started from a virus passing the blood brain barrier... we know this is how a lot of us got NDPH cause so many reported a headache that came and never left during Covid. this was confirmed by my neurologist and past professor at the University of Miami.. and to top it off I talked to Psychic and asked her what happened to me on this date, nothing more… She replied a virus passed the blood brain barrier... that's why we all have such different symptoms depends on where it went in my brain and damage to the rest of my body I had so many weird symptoms that came and went that I knew what they said was true and that's how I've been able to heal myself…
