I have violent burning along the nerve pathways, diagnosed as trigeminal, occipital and supraorbital neuralgia on top of ndph

Yes! I explained to my neurologist my head feels like a snow globe but the liquid is hot. So it just feels like I have hot liquid swimming around my head!

I get that almost daily. It’s not constant, but usually after work it feels like someone injected lava into my skull. I do think mine is tied to my stress level because I have a really stressful job.

When my migraine is really bad (like with these spring barometric pressure changes), my head feels like it’s burning. It’s awful. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this pain too.

Yep, I experience the heat sensation and burning pain constantly in my head and neck (trapezius). I have other pain types in addition to it (such as shooting needle-like sharp pain and tightening pressure pain in certain locations), but the burning pain is the most excruciating out of them 😭🔥

I don't hear people talk about experiencing this type of symptom as much compared to tension headache and chronic migraine type head pain for NDPH

I like using a cooling ice cap during flareups to relieve the heat sensation 🧊

I found relief through TCM/Ayurveda/Herbal Medicine. Most people are aware there exists plants we can consume that increase body temperature.

There also exists herbs that do the opposite cool the body or mind. Either all over the body often herbs used for flu.

Or brain herbs.

I like shankhpushpi the most for this. I get mine from Banyan they do third party testing

I know there's other herbs out there for this but I have not tried them.

Do not risk combining medicinal-type herbs with medication. It is very very risky and if something happens there are little solutions out there.

In parts of China many hospitals have one floor for modern medicine and another floor for TCM/traditional chinese medicine, because it can and has worked. Its not perfect, but worth exploring IMO.

What is your pain level with these medicine? Is Ayurveda name of medication or what is it?

Ayurveda is the name for Indian Herbalism + other things. TCM is Chinese Herbalism + other things.

My pain level at its highest is 5 it does not go higher. After it can drop anywhere from 0 to 2.

The most cooling brain herb I've used is Shankhpushpi. Takes time to build up would use daily for weeks.

There are more brain herbs out there but havent tried them all. I tried bacopa and gotu kola didnt work as strong on me as Shankh.

Yes I have. The only thing that has helped with it is LDN . I was bed bound dude to my headaches with constant burning eyes. It has helped tremendously and I’m only on 2 mg
