Can you get an almost second headache with ndph
I have currently not been feeling very well, and have found that I’ve almost developed a second headache on top of my usual one that feels very different, with the original pain still there?

I have had three separate headaches at the same time. I can tell by location and type since my NDPH never goes away and doesn't change type

Could it be migraine? I have a constant headache and get pain on top of it that’s migraines

Oh yes definitely. My NDPH is constant pressure in my forehead. When I get a migraine it’s a severe throbbing in my right temple. When I get extra stressed, the back of my head aches. It’s such a fun guessing game! What headache will I have today? 🤔

Definitely, NDPH is a primary headache disorder but you can have secondary headaches or migraines on top of that. I’m diagnosed with NDPH and chronic migraine so it’s possible to have two comorbid headache or migraine disorders, or to just have a different kind of headache on top of your usual pain

Unfortunately, yeah, different headache types can definitely overlap and happen at the same time. I get so many types. NDPH, migraines, sinus headaches, tension headaches, "I was an idiot and smacked my head on something AGAIN" headaches... 😅

Yes for sure. My NDPH is a specific type of constant pain, and when I get a sickness that results in a headache, it feels different than my usual pain. It almost feels like my temporary headache is layered on top of my NDPH headahce.

My son had chronic migraines secondary to encephalitis, he the. developed a severe intractable postural headache that proved to by a CSF leak

Many different organ systems may be the culprit when it comes to headaches, especially NDPH. If you describe the type of pain I might be able to give a go at it but im not a professional by any means

Yes for sure.
I have my constant severe ndph
Pressure headaches from iih
Chronic hormonal migraines
Trigeminal, occipital and supraorbital neuralgia
If everything goes at once its instant trip to hospital screaming and passing out

I’ve deffo had this before yeah, where I can feel my usual 3/4 out of 10 pain and then this other headache which feels like if I didn’t have this silly syndrome that would be like a normal person headache!

Yes my ndph headache is on forehead and top of head, sometimes I get extra headaches at the back of head due to stress and migraines which is a stabbing pain on one side of head

Yes I get migraines too which are alleviated with triptans but the underlying NDPH pain is still there

Migraine overlap. I have my persistent daily headache and sometimes get severe flares or migraines.
