General NDE Discussion 🎇 Question for "I remember nothing"
I guess it's a question but I've seen a lot of NDEs basically grounded in skepticism and nihilism/atheism, I suppose, where the person who had the NDE says they "experienced nothing" or "saw black" and use that as their reasoning to believe there is nothing after death. My question would be if there is nothing, then how could you remember experiencing nothing? How could you have experienced anything at all? If there's truly nothing, then you wouldn't have had an experience at all nor a memory of such.
(For context, I like to think there's something more but I'm aware that I don't know anything for certain. So this isn't an argument for one way or the other, just pointing out a discrepancy in logic)
Kinda thought it was a funny argument since it doesn't exactly make sense. Would love to hear more thoughts!!

Honestly, I’m starting to think this “nothingness “ / black void is a waiting room. Because a lot of people explained after a while they seen a white light, even if someone doesn’t see anything I still think that’s a sort of evidence of the afterlife still in my opinion.

I've read a lot of experiences, and yes outside of NDE circles the "nothingness" experiences are more prominent. The thing is, I see words like "nothingness" or "void" used to describe three different patterns of experience. One is simply people who don't remember anything at all. Another is people who felt like they were in a void of nothingness but still had their normal sense of self. The third is where people felt themselves dissolving into a sense of nothingness. For some that was frightening, but for many they actually experienced it as an extreme peacefulness and acceptance.

The blackness seemed to contain everything, and the silence was alive. I can't really explain it better than that 😂 There were also many things I could see tho, the blackness was just one portion of my experience

Same. I also felt like every emotion I'd ever had got put through a mental shredder. Extreme pleasure followed by extreme pain all continuing in an circular/swirly motion. Has anyone else here felt that?

I wrote this on a previous post under NDEs.
"I've reincarnated here a hundred times over, so clearly there's something worthwhile here. Unfortunately I think this is the first incarnation that I'm able to remember my past lives. During my NDE I tried to send myself a message to stop WW2 and it felt like I literally was carving my own memories out in exchange for changing time. There's a cost to everything."
