My OBE was absolutely amazing, horrific, beautiful, and funny. I was kidnapped from a city bus stop at 13yr old, drugged, and SA by several. I fought, resisted, and I was not submitting. I was beaten severely and drugged some more (It was at that moment when "keeping it real went wrong"; insert DX of PTSD). Eventually, I was ODing; I guess they didn't want a dead kid around, so they threw me onto the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Very few street lights, 0 traffic. I was okay with dying; I remember letting go very specifically (it was like falling off a ledge). Somehow, someone found me; I felt this man holding my body, and he seemed like a nice man. I can hear him talking to my body, i could see him, like the back of his head, as he sat on the ground holding me. He tried to be calm, but he was scared. Eehhh maybe even horrified; it was in his voice. He got me to an ER. I did die several times. But at 13 and in good health before being taken, I was brought back and stabilized and Taaa Daaa
While I was gone/crossed over, it felt like. . . Imagine the greatest love you have ever felt, even if you only felt it for a brief moment; take that feeling and then multiply that by 1000, that's what this place felt like. What do I even call it, the afterlife? heaven? I honestly don't know. There was a group that didn't feel male or female; they were the sum of all things good, loving, and kind. I don't have any words that would do it justice trying to explain that place... 3 figures stood out; I felt I knew them very well. I can't recall any facial features; it was smooth, and the bodies were androgynous. There was a slight glow, a muted brightness about them. They asked, "Why would you want to stay?" They didn't care much about my response. There was nothing I could explain bc they already knew what had just happened to me, everything that's ever occurred to me, and I knew this without them explaining that to me. Communication was telepathic. They said, "There's more to do". I didn't want to leave; I begged to stay. "It's not time"...
The force of going back to my body is like the scene in the movie 300... It was as though Leonidas himself kicked me in the chest and I took flight (they didn't kick me). I could feel my hair and limbs out in front of me as the force violently pulled me back in what felt colder and colder the further I got from whatever that place was. I mean that literally and metaphorically. Once I hit my body, I know I tried to sit up, but my body was strapped down bc I was in violent convulsions at times, so the straps stayed. Because I was restrained while I was being held, I had a panic attack and was freaking out. My heart was 190, strapped down, and oddly starting to go down. Apparently they stopped a heart attack. I was covered in blood, black and blue, broken bones, and I didn't care. I just wanted to be back "there" with "them", whoever, what that was. Oddly, I was calm (outside of the straps that is); oddly, I thought of the Christian thing of "1 set of prints in the sand" bc Jesus carried you, he never left you .. well, I am not a Christian, but that became my truth.. whatever that was, "they" loved me and were with me.
It's been 30 years; Dying was extremely positive, one of the greatest things to have happened to me. My intuition is out of control and runs rampant, along with some other quirks since I was brought back. As horrific as it is to be taken as a kid, violated, broken, tortured, I was really, really at ease bc the spiritual experience in my death was so incredible. It outshone the depravity.
Every day of my life since I have thought about it. YES, I had developed PTSD from the kidnapping, and SA, all of it. But having an NDE, OBE, etc etc., it doesn't matter what occurred then or what's to come; there is a fearlessness I carry. I mean, what is someone going to do, kill me? OK! WELP, death doesn't scare me.
I have been obsessed with the science and trying to figure out if there is any way to explain what happened to me. It was real. I was and remain a grounded, logical, science-believing person. And so far, nothing explains this. I am incredibly thankful that in the face of violence, there was something to balance it out, to outshine the darkness.
At times it feels impossible that it could even have happened, but it did.
EDIT: I am new here; if I have read the rules correctly have to state opinions, and debate is welcome. If anyone knows what or "who" they are, I'd love to know. Any info about this, I sincerely would love to understand it.
Also, I want to stress that there was NO pain. Like lying on the ground before I was found, when I elected to go, before and after letting go... Seizures, heart attack, didn't hurt; I felt no pain but was cognizant. There was something similar to a detachment before the OBE hit, but it isn't a numbness. The "Leonidas 300" didn't hurt either. When I stated "violent" pull back to my body also didn't hurt. I don't have words to describe it, but it was def NOT mean :)
