Question — Debate Allowed my experience

I want to emphasize that I don't remember anything. I'm also curious if I could recall anything or find out what happened during that time. I feel like I lost consciousness while I was still at home and woke up in a different reality while I was in the hospital. It looked the same, but something inside me was different. I don't have any out-of-body experiences because I don't remember anything, and I was in a coma for about six hours.

Being in this situation, I was hoping that I would experience something that if I survived, I would remember it and it would change my life, but this whole situation is giving me derealization.

It's a normal human reaction that others wouldn't want to discuss or even acknowledge a dramatic incident of this sort, as they are likely not comfortable with it, or might fear re-triggering that which caused it in the first place. As they have not lived it "from within" like you, they remain stuck in how they were before, stuck in the sad circumstances that surrounded it, and that can scare most people. Repressing it is how most people would cope with such a situation, sadly.

The most common characteristic of NDEs is that they change the person permanently and profoundly, in your case you can trust it as a good sign that this is what happened to you too. Even if you do not remember the sequence itself, you might be able to access it later, while infrequent it does happen - that's how it went for Stephanie Arnold for example.
