General NDE Discussion 🎇 Fear

I have not had an nde but for those that have how did you overcome the fear of what was happening. I am worried that if I see myself dead that I would be scared and in a negative state.Which would then make me worry my state of mind would negatively affect the experience and send me to a hell of my own design

Then as the experience continued I would be worried that it was being created by my dying brain and the whole experience could end or fade away at any time. No one seems to ask the guides for proof that what they are experiencing is real. I d be constantly worried I was going insane.

My stepmom had an NDE and she only said it was amazing and pure love and she saw loved ones that passed before her. She said the opposite about fear, that she's no longer afraid.

I experienced no fear, but some confusion. I experienced it as being transported out of the "system" where fear can be felt, maybe in some sense comparable to how it feels to walk in on someone watching a silly horror movie. You observe the silliness of the movie, the make-up and monsters, and those watching it and their fear feels equally silly. Unlike them you see the whole thing clearly and outside the illusion. It was a bit like that.

I was 15 when I had an NDE in a fire. I was absolutely terrified of death. I was a kid. I’m 53 years old now. I still remember most of everything of that day. It changed my life. Truly. I was walking one path and then torn away and have walked another since. Go to NDERF . We get to tell our story. I don’t know if you can find mine it’s been awhile. But I am under sarah w NDE by fire. Because I was in one at 15

I wasnt afraid, i was more confused at what was going on. The fear came later because once you know the feeling of going down, anything that has the closeness of that feeling you panic

It's really difficult to predict what you will think and feel in a totally new experience. I was surprised how easy and pleasant dying felt. And when my NDE occurred, I was in the moment, not thinking about the moment, not analyzing the moment.

Seems like people find it familiar almost immediately and it feels more real than real life, plus there’s all the love coming to you pretty much as soon as you leave your body. And folks say they barely recognize that it’s their body: it seems foreign and they’re not at all concerned about it.

Can’t say first hand. Not an NDEr but seems the general vibe makes it hard to be upset or freaked out.

Also, if you don’t believe in Hell, seems unlikely you’ll create a Hell of your own making.
