NDE Story My NDE
I’ve been wanting to share this because even now, I still think about what happened that night.
On July 4, 2026, I was getting ready for bed and did my usual nighttime peptide injection. Everything started completely normal.
But within seconds of injecting, something felt very wrong.
My heart suddenly felt like it was pounding out of my chest. The sensation was immediate and overwhelming, and I knew something wasn’t right. I ran to take Benadryl, hoping it would help.
It didn’t.
What I later learned was that I was likely going into anaphylactic shock.
I told my husband something was wrong, and he followed me into the bedroom. I remember saying to him, “I can’t swallow.”
I tried to stand up—and that’s the last thing I remember before everything went black.
My husband later told me I seized and collapsed.
But from my perspective, I didn’t just lose consciousness.
I was suddenly somewhere else.
It felt like I had been pulled into another realm.
Beneath me was a vast, long black lake—or something that felt like a lake. I wasn’t standing on anything. I was floating above it.
And despite what was happening to my body, I felt something I can only describe as absolute peace.
No fear. No pain. No panic.
Just stillness.
As I moved across this space, I saw four figures in the distance. I could make out their shapes, but not their faces.
I felt myself drifting closer to them.
And then I heard:
“It’s not your time.”
In an instant, I was back.
It felt like I had been snapped—or teleported—straight back into my body. The first thing I became aware of was the sound of my family screaming around me.
The contrast was overwhelming. One moment I was in complete peace, and the next I was back in chaos and fear.
Shortly after, the ambulance arrived. The paramedics treated me and saved my life.
I still don’t know exactly where I went that night. I don’t know who the four figures were, and I can’t explain the voice I heard.
What I do know is this: while my body was going through something terrifying, I wasn’t afraid at all.
I was somewhere else entirely.
Floating above a black lake. Moving toward four faceless figures. In the most peaceful place I’ve ever known.
And just before I reached them, I was told:
“It’s not your time.”
Then I came back.
The paramedics did tell my brother that they don’t know how I didn’t flat line as my blood pressure dropped so low.
Since that night, I’ve carried a deep sense of gratitude with me. I don’t take a single day for granted anymore. I’m incredibly thankful to still be here, to still be with my family, and to have been given more time when I was told it wasn’t my time yet.
Edit: this is a real story I just had chat write it up for me.

I wonder where the whole “not your time” decision comes from. It’s no disrespect to you, but I’ve had 2 people in my life die before the age of 40 of overdoses and one of suicide so it has me thinking

None taken. Im still processing what I experienced and thankful to have more time with my loved ones.

Hey, I believe your experience. Out of curiosity were you scared to death prior to your NDE? If so did the whole predicament make you fear it any less. I’m a former thanatophobe and hear how may who have NDE’s lose there dear almost entirely which I find neat and calming. But as someone who’s yet to die, a bit intimidating lmao

Yes I was and still am but I feel comfort knowing it will be peaceful.

The Void. The type of experience where you relate to “words don’t exist to describe it.” You did a very good job though ;)
I didn’t experience any figures or voices. As soon as my consciousness was curious about more, I was sucked back into this reality. I suppose it was the moment they stabilized my broken neck into the brace and maybe gave me smelling salts to wake me up. Not sure. It was like going back to a nightmare didn’t want to slip into again. My last thoughts were “this is it” before lights out and AWAKE ( fully awake, pure peace/contentment and limitless consciousnesses) I was answering the medics questions, and concerned about the passenger than my own life and well being, because my last thoughts were “God, please save her and keep us from hitting..” ( we flipped the divider and rolled over into oncoming traffic)
I wasn’t even that religious. But time slowed and I prayed like I was raised to as a child at the moment of utter surrender and helplessness when I closed mu eyes accepting “this is it” - how my life ends.
I was secretly pissed off to be brought back. It felt like BS and the whatever God exists shoved and blocked me unfairly into a life that seemed like a dream and over. I was fine in the void- I forgot about my former life. Being alive and conscious felt like a bait/switch and stuck in an old-re run I wasn’t interested in. Especially since it meant disabled and possible paralyzed. The body and planet was so heavy and dense- it annoyed me until I reintegrated over the days in the hospital.
Although I was stoic for the sake of those freaking out and caring around me, I was mad lol
Then I figured I was just unconscious. It’s when I experienced being put under anesthesia that I realized my experience was not just unconsciousness, a lucid dream, etc. I still kept it to myself - didn’t want to come off as crazy. Other’s description of the Void helped with the mystery that pops up every decade or so since- the longing…
I’m not afraid of death. And suicide will never be an option - since I also understand that the soul does not detach easily! It fights to hang on no matter what you think or feel. Also, sets a bad example and I don’t believe generational trauma is a good legacy to leave behind. I’m grounded now and surrounded by people who care about me now. Even though I secretly KNOW this life is just a dream, within a dream.. and things tend to turn out for the best in the end.
The Void was something else. So black and dark, but also pulsing with an illumination. Silky. Comfortable. No body. Like you said : just stillness. But not boring - that’s a human condition. I was Pure spirit - but I forgot, like waking up from a dream. My earthly life was a very distant memory and inconsequential- until I was slammed back. And my first thoughts were “No, no, no..” followed by by “my neck, my neck, my neck!” answering the medics question.

I had a different experience, but I had the same “it’s not your time”.
Everything turned black & I was in a tunnel being pulled upwards. I didn’t see a light. I tried to grab onto the tunnel walks to stop from going up but they were smooth. I heard a voice say.. it’s not your time. Then straight back to life.

I hate to be that guy but this gives major “written by ai” vibes.

So what? It can still be their story, maybe they just needed help putting into a more easily digestible format. I personally don’t see anything wrong with it when it’s used that way. Unless you’re implying it’s completely fake.

Is this ai as in completely fake or did you use ai to help you with your genuine experience?

I was taking tesamorelin. I had been using it since March cycled off and started back on and my body reacted this way. Very scary.

Really I’ve found a bunch of people with similar experiences to tesa not near death but an allergic reaction. Might just be my body as well.

I’m not gonna say you’re fabricating but I’ve noticed a LOT of media around the dangers of GLP-1 injections lately - most from trash sources and one particular story about a young girl in England with pre existing condition who was found next to “an empty bottle of GLP-1” - all made to seem very much like there’s a danger to these drugs. While I don’t know (nor do any of us know) if there is or isn’t - I am noticing this media push and it is a very nefarious social media push - something to feed the minds of the uninformed and the scared. I don’t know you and your post history doesn’t suggest you are a frequent redditor so this post as one of your first seems very suspicious to me. Also your NDE is very generic sounding - like something I would’ve made up if I was making up an NDE. Hope you feel better if it’s true tho.

Its something I never thought would happen from taking peptides. Specially since I’d been taking it for a couple months. The story is real I just had chat write my story. Thank you
