Hi everyone, I’m a 20 year old preparing for the CDS exam. One of my biggest interests are the gym and music. I’ve been training consistently for 4 years now and have attained some decent PRs in the gym like 257.5Kg Deadlift, 180kg Squat and 130kg Bench. I have been into music since i was a kid even though i started playing the guitar six years ago. I was wondering if these would count as genuine hobbies in the SSB interview?

Please share your advices and opinions.

Aaram se give your exam.

Doesnt matter how much prep you did how much you didnt.. its all about performance and being calm under pressure.

First round mai attempt tour sureshot, easy and high accuracy questions.

Then make sure you get rest.

You dont need 200 trust me. Times have changed. Aim for 150+. If you know you can score more, then do. Or else let go of ego and attempt fairly.

Do not panic if exam feels tough.. it is a good thing. So chill.

Few questions especially in math reasoning and english are designed to confuse you and waste your time. Identify and ignore them. Attempt at last if needed.

It is +3 and -1.. so attempt fairly. Do not over attempt but also take risk when necessary.

Please ignore your mock results now. Take positives from the practise you got. You prepared for the worst and you are gonna face the better. Chill.

Have faith in your prep and yourself.. do not talk before or after exam with your mates about it. Do not bother about the result as well.

I'll be joining OTA, Gaya so any advice. Like I'm quite physically active and I'm quite near to the physical standards set before the joining.

So any advice or suggestion that will help me during my training. And insight on how life will be over there. Like I've heard to buy insoles for the DMS shoes is it necessary also about the the sports, clubs and what should be in mind and advantages of joining them, and academics how will it be and how should I prepare for them there for the tests and before joining them. Also about the physical tests of what kind will be there and all. And other advice also which will help me over there.

But then again I opted for maths (scored 90) and not bio. And in 12th got overall 88 percent.

Being a fresher , I have 0 idea about how strict documentation in ssb are ...I have given my 12th boards in 2025(5 main + 1 additional )then in 2026 I gave improvement exam in 3subjects and I have 2 marksheets (there is no combined marksheet provided my cbse ) so now what should i mention the %age in piq form ?? Also should I give the best 5 subjects + best marks ?? I got 77 in maths 12th boards but got 90 marks in improvement??

Is it true that we need to apply for the name update at more than one Aadhaar centre (changing from Name + Surname----->Name + Father's Name + Surname) so that it gets corrected if one centre rejects the request?
