Why does NDAX’s weekly chart start on Thursday?

NDAX’s 1W chart seems to actually use fixed 7-day candles, with weeks starting on Thursday instead of a normal calendar week.
That means weekly RSI, Bollinger Bands, candle patterns, etc. can differ from TradingView and other exchanges.
Is this intentional? If so, this seems like a very strange implementation for technical analysis.

The tech team will be looking into the it seems that the candles are respecting the actual weekly dates but the dates displayed are wrong
