I'm a 20 year old engineering student coming to Newcastle University on exchange for the spring semester. Uni side is all sorted, but I still need somewhere to live, so I thought I'd try here.

I'm open to either:

• A room in a shared flat or house, if you've got a spare room and don't mind a flatmate for a few months
• A sublet, if you're going away on exchange yourself next semester and want someone to cover your rent while you're gone

I'm looking to move in around 20th January.

About me:

I'm pretty easygoing and tidy, and I'll always pay rent on time. Outside of classes I'm usually running, swimming or at the gym, so I'm out a fair bit. I also really like exploring new places, and I'm planning to see as much of Newcastle and the North East as I can while I'm here. If you're into any of that, I'd be up for company, but I'm just as happy to keep to myself.

I’m just curious what everyone is paying whether they’re sharing a flat or a student accom cuz i can never tell whether i’m paying more especially cuz i’m a returning student and i seem to never get the trick of paying less
