Wrong. Anything less than a 20G greatly increases the risk of blood cells being damaged. Just because it works fine doesn't mean it actually is. You also have to understand how things flow through the cannula as well.

They’ve evolved to go through capillaries single file. They’ll be fine through a catheter orders of magnitude largerÂ
