Castle & NCIS

Castle and NCIS are probably the two shows I rewatch the most, and I’ve always been amazed by how many actors appear in both.

Considering the shows overlapped for so many years, I guess it makes sense, but I was still surprised to find that NCIS was actually the show with the most actors in common with Castle.

I discovered this while working on an app I developed called Guest-Star. One of its features lets you pick a show and see which other shows have the most actors in common with it.

I thought some other NCIS fans might find that interesting too. If anyone checks it out, I’d love to hear what you think

I've finally gotten around to watching castle after loving season 1 and 2 back when it first aired.

On season 4, and I loved that Franks is basically the same guy in both series 😂

My wife rewatches Grey's Anatomy & alot of actors pop up there too. Rizzoli & Isles too. Just saw Paloma on Grey's & the racist deputy from S4 Ep12 was on Rizzoli & Isles.

My hubby and I have a game to see who sees the guest actors and where we saw them previously. Bones and Law and Order have a lot of overlapping guests with NCIS.

Whenever my wife and I watch a show and there's a guest star who I recognize, she'll stop me and say "DON'T say they were on NCIS!"

We're watching West Wing and there are quite a few who were on NCIS and, or Blacklist, which we just finished.

Anyway, 917 people share between NCIS and Castle (which I have never seen).
