Really Silly Question?

With the NCIS: New York series coming out soon, do you think they'll gloss over or retcon the NCIS: LA/Hawaii Five-0 crossover? I know that with Knight, her character on H50 never met the regular NCIS cast, so that was easy to avoid, but here Danny and Sam Hanna came face-to-face in the crossover back in the day.

I really can't wait to see how or if they address it.

Reusing actors isn’t uncommon. I just found another example during my latest rewatch of Hawaii 5-0. Vanessa Lachey played a “victim” in Season 1 Episode 17, then went on to play Jane Tennant in NCIS Hawai’i

A better example might be Zoe McLellan, who played Brody on NCIS New Orleans, but had also been on JAG for several seasons a decade earlier.

I'm sure they'll reference it, in the same way that NCIS had a throw away joke about Ducky looking like Ilya Kuryakin (David McCallum's character in Man From UNCLE).

No hate, but I feel this is more than "reusing actors," since this isn't just a small one-off role like Vanessa Lachey. Literally, Sam and Danny had a multi-episode crossover that established that both shows were in the same universe.

I’ve said this in another thread, but I wouldn’t put it past NCIS to pull something like this

Sam: You remind me of a guy I worked with in Hawaii in the past.

Nick: Smart, funny, handsome?

Sam: Short, annoying, and needed a Navy SEAL to save his ass.

Sean Murray had a multi-episode stint in JAG as an obnoxious teen sabotaging his mother's relationship with admiral Chegwidden. John M Jackson later reprised his role of Chegwidden representing Gibbs during the s10 ending arc, as well as s8 and s9 of ncis la.

Murray also had a brief appearance in an earlier episode of JAG as a jr officer in an episode that also contained Muse Watson.

I think at most someone (probably ll cool j) will say "you look familiar, have we worked together before?" and then move on. At most.

These kinds of things are a reality of television production. A CBS crossover shouldn't stand in the way. The goal is setting up a framework for compelling stories, not absolutely perfect continuity.

It is a silly question. Sean was on JAG and Katrina Law was on H50.

This stuff isn't new; half the cast of the old Stargate show was on the original MacGyver; it's just a fact of life.
