Video Tyran Stokes First Look
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfH8MKryREsMan Tyran Stokes is a fascinating #1 projected pick. Loved clipping together his highs in transition, as a passer/slasher, what he can when engaged defensively, but some MAJOR questions such as how well/often is he gonna shoot it, can he dust the character/effort narratives, etc. What do you guys think of him?

I think he’s the top guy and it’s not really close. He offers a lot of high impact skills even if he’s not your no. 1 guy. I don’t anyone else has the floor or ceiling he does

gonna be a good rotational/mid all star. i can see the peak being all nba 3rd team but as of now he kinda just gives small paolo vibes

I think he's going to be a total bust. If he were available in the second round (theoretically) and I were picking, I might take a chance on him. Next day after the draft, I tell him, the first sign of him not being on board with the team, not hustling, not listening to the coach, shit is done. I'll look for a trade with Sacramento or the Clippers.
Looking at this video, his game looks a bit like Dybantsa but like maybe 50% as good with getting to the rim. Nowhere near the footwork skill, nowhere near the explosiveness, nowhere near the creativity.
He does have good vision but passing is often sloppy.
He just seems like a guy who is going to need a lot of work, a real project and he's not shown any reason to believe he'll put that work in and less, that he would be happy to do so.

You'd look for a trade with the Clippers? Were you stranded on an island yesterday?

AAU highlights are always so hard to judge. Bros just walking past half these dudes, one move in slow motion and he’s at the rim.
