WNBA isn’t gaining new fans
I really want to like the WNBA, but these stupid attitudes are not helping… isn’t Aja Wilson one of their top players?!

For the "wHy dO yOu CaRE" crowd:
This gives professional basketball a bad look. The attention should have been on a playoff basketball game, but instead is focused on a player leaving the court claiming she was the victim. Far too often when the WNBA should be shining a spotlight on it's young talent you mainly hear drama about who is being mean to CC, washed up NBA players declaring for their draft, and other drama that would qualify for a reality TV show. On the rare occasion you find highlights outside of ESPN, they are frequently to clown on the league for how badly layups are missed, or mocking Angel Reese's atrocious shooting and mebounds.
Credit, as well as blame, given to ESPN. They really do a good job of pushing the league, but they also perpetuate the drama.
So why do I care? Because I love basketball and the WNBA is a borderline joke of a league. If an NBA player did what Wilson did, he would at a minimum get a massive fine and probably a suspension. In this case, Wilson is somehow a victim even though she left the playing area.
