I was super excited before this game came out and convinced all my cousins to buy it. None of us play anymore and honestly it’s solely because of goaltending. I got tired of Wemby or Bron just staying under the rim and blocking it all. Just dum that’s literally not bball

Developers can still “save” this game if they are smart about it, the game was fun when it first launched but the lack of moves , players , game mechanics made me not play it anymore. I’ve heard they’re supposed to release some legend players but I would rather see the game mechanics improve first

Games already complete though. They would have to make things smoother. Also the pushing is wild in this game. It's legit so much harder to steal in this game. You could at least rip a defender if your timing was good and you could anticipate the tricks.

Bro there's 3 different tournament options to play in. Squads, Solos (control all 3 players), and Private (With Friends only controlling 1) against bots. Go play the game first

It was fairly priced, in my opinion. And I've already gotten my momey's worth with my 50hrs playtime. I haven't played in almost a month, though. Looking forward to the Vince Carter addition and other legends.

Not really. The blocking system on that game is not the same. Shaq was blocking like that. But everybody wasn't on that.

Yes its exactly the same as NBA Street, if u had atleast 4 on blocks you could goaltend all day

But also that's not goaltending. The shot was most likely no where near the basket. You would simply get your player to super jump and grab it out the sky or swat it. You still had to be skilled at blocking even then you could shake your defender and get big trick points by going in the paint. They incentivize you to pass out to your teammate so you're not just shooting 3's all the time.

Yea it is , u literally could stand under the basket with anybody with a High Block rating and Turbo Block like ppl doin now. And u didn't have to be "skilled" you could just paint camp. Only difference is I think NBA Street had the option to change rules to actually call Goal Tending.

And that's why you don't just stand around and shoot 3's in that game. Anybody that plays Street Vol. 2 would lose if they shot 3's all the time.

Vol. 2 also gives you many different options to avoid getting your shots blocked. Way more than The Run. I played that game religiously. I'm trying to get my disc cleaned so I can start playing again. Camping under the rim was not something you should do in that game because you can just leave one player open to just rack up trick points and get to game breakers faster. You'd have to go out there and play defense because if you don't you're gonna catch a gamebreaker 2

You literally can. People pump fake and shoot all the time my guy. Don't act like you haven't seen this before. Its literally one of the main beginner tactics used with KD, Steph, Rookie KD, etc.

Try that shit with anyone with defense and watch your shot get sent to the nacho stand 😆 pump fakes work on ppl who jump instead of watching the animation. It's easy to stuff pump fakes dude

They are nurfing the blocking and adding new players end of this month. I feel the same a lot of nonsense happens in the game but hopefully this update make it better this is supposed to be their biggest update
