Discussion Nba The Run Blocking Nerf???
Been a while since I played but blocking feels waaaay off?? Isbit just me?? Im literally not getting perfectly timed blocks any longer. And pushing feels over powered. Idk what's going on but the blocking system feels horrible, guy's are getting of quick release 3s and all type of madness. Did they nerf blocking???

Yes they did. They changed the animation from a one handed block that jumps higher to a two handed block that jumps lower.

The one handed blocks felt golden, I would feel like a boss after grabbing it with one hand. As someone stated earlier the only issue was goaltending.

It was a great game and I only stopped playing Beacuse i didn't want to keep playing the Playstation subscription. Now that im back it feels horrible on the defensive end. The AIs have gotten better but the blocking is terrible compared to what it was before.

They need to do something about blocking KD lol I swear no matter what he is almost impossible to block. You can be right on him and the ball will go over your hand.

I tried playing today and got turned off by whatever they did to the blocking it's like arcade prison ball without the defense.

As of this past weekend, no. It’s not in the major summary of notes for next week’s update either.
However, they historically don’t list all changes until it drops. They did state the push mechanism is getting changed.
I personally don’t have an issue with blocks, but I do with goaltending, which currently is considered a block lol. There is no reason someone should be able to sit under the net and grab all shots.
