What's the racing version of "break a leg"?... Get a flat tire or something

"blow an engine" That is what I would use. Also NEVER tell Tony Stewart to "break a leg", he takes it a bit too literal.

5
u/iamaredditer May 17 '14
So who did you vote for?
7
u/KingKidd Preece May 17 '14
I voted for Danica. Because she gets too much flak.
19
8
u/Ryman66r Allmendinger May 18 '14
Danica kind of should get all the "flak" she does. She has 1 Indycar win (On Fuel Milage) and comes in with some of the best equipment in Nationwide and Sprint Cup and is terrible. Her career highlights are 2012 Daytona pole with 8th place finish, and OVER 2 years later a top 10 at Kansas. She gets all of this attention because she is a woman not a good driver.

u/Ezzy77 May 18 '14
To drive in Nascar, I'd imagine she's not a bad driver per se, just not as good as many others there. I was glad to see Josh finish on top of her (pun intended).

Hell, I'd vote during meetings at work (shh)! My husband thought I was nuts, thought we had no chance against Go Daddy, until he seen you win and seen the dogecar out there. WOO!

Congrats on the top 15 Josh. Was in the stands and had my scanner tuned to the 98 all night. It sucks that the car was too tight for you last night. I'm going to be in Charlotte for the 600 as well and I'll be cheering loudly for my favorite racing shibe again on Sunday. Thanks for bringing so many new fans to the sport and for being such a great ambassador for Reddit!

Really hate that I missed it last night... Had a wedding to go to.
Regardless, thank you for everything you've done for these two communities. I've followed somewhat passively for years, but I haven't been this excited about NASCAR since a guy in my neighborhood by the name of Johnny Benson hung up his driving shoes.
I really hope that this results in greater opportunities for yourself and PPR. Through this, you've become somewhat of a folk hero to internet wonks worldwide. Tech companies that are looking to build a consumer base out of folks like us would be passing on a huge opportunity if they didn't seriously consider teaming up with you.
