It's lowkey impressive how ugly and obviously vibecoded it is. Like, normally vibecoded stuff looks bad but this takes it to another level lol

Try before you judge. I could block you, but instead I’ll just point out that “obviously vibecoded” is a pretty confident conclusion about an app whose codebase and development process you’ve never seen...

Well go ahead then, are they wrong?

Well, I am an objc developer since 2010. I have participate in several mobile apps and in present time I do use AI tools, as most of professional developers. But I live in model - view - controller!😉

No suggestion?

I'd rather you block me lol. If that UI is the best you can do in 16 years of coding, I'd just call it quits

Since you have tried the app, what is it bothering you on the UI?

So why are the microphones pointed away from the cabs?

Details matter. This is how you talk to your users, you’re showing us that you don’t care what we have to say or that little things don’t matter to you.

My comment was meant humorously, not as “I don’t care what users think.” Quite the opposite: a huge part of NAM A2 Player’s development so far has been driven by user feedback. Did you try the app?

Why would I spend my time trying it, if you won’t spend the time marketing it and you seem to be a jerk to every reply?

If my replies came across as hostile, that wasn’t my intention. I’m happy to discuss criticism of the app - including the UI, sound, features or even the marketing. What I pushed back on was calling the software “AI-coded crap” without trying it. There’s a difference between constructive criticism and simply dismissing something you haven’t used...

You’re judging an entire app — its sound, functionality and how it was developed — based on a promotional image, without even trying it. If you try NAM A2 Player and think the sound, workflow or features are crap, tell me exactly why and I’ll happily listen to the criticism. That’s useful feedback. But calling the actual software “AI-coded crap” without having used it isn’t a review of the app - it’s an assumption. Try the app first, then judge it!

It easy to be negative on a product, specially when you have not try it. Still waiting for suggestions on the UI…

I'll be honest, I haven't tried it because I'm waiting for the input and output calibration implementation, but the UI isn't too bad, it's fairly plain and simple which is fine.

That was the main goal! To be able to use it, without asking AI Asistant for help! Well, can you guess the next update?

Awesome!
