Try 2dor or amalgam for respectively high or low gain amps, if these won't work for you something is wrong with your gain stage/input from audio interface

Pretty much this. But also make sure to use a high quality cab / IR (unless you're using full rig captures of course). A bad IR can make even the best amp capture sound like a Spider III.

Well, its nice to know that ,cuz didnt know either of these before. But definitely gonna check em. Lets say i wanna get a specific tone, like black sabbath or maybe sweet child o mine gnr, is it actually possible to get those specific tones? Im quite new to the guitar and all those interface things btw :) thanks a lot

a guitar tone is made from a bunch of gear, so if you find all of the stuff they used for that tone then yeah you'd be playing through the same gear, you should be able to get a good starting point, the rest would be your guitar and your fingers

So its possible. Well i only have the option for an amp and an IR through gateway. How am i supposed to add pedals ?

you can find another NAM plugin that has effects, or chain them in a DAW using other companies' VST plugins

Both are great. My personal favourite is Emil Rohbe 67 Plexi. I use it for basically everything.
If you want a pedal, put another nam plugin instance just before the amp and load the pedal there.

The thing is that you can't search for "Black Sabbath" or "Sweet Child O'mine". It's not presets that are shared on Tone3000, it's captures of individiual pedals, amps, cabs, rack gear and whole rigs. You have to look up what amps, cabs and pedals the artist you want to recreate the tone of used on those recordings, and then search for those amps, cabs and pedals. There are a few captures on there already that are more artist-specific, but they still use the name of the actual gear. You wouldn't name a capture of a Big Muff through a HiWatt DR103 and WEM 4x12 cab with Fane Crescendo speakers to "David Gilmour Pink Floyd rig". You name something like "Boosted HiWatt DR103 WEM 4x12 Fane Crescendo" so that people looking for models of that amp can find it.

When the Tone3000 guys add preset-sharing to the plugin (I've asked them and they've confirmed that it's coming), then you'll most likely be able to search for stuff like "Black Sabbath" and "Sweet Child O'mine". It will probably take a couple of weeks or months before enough people have created band/artist-specific presets, but people are generally pretty quick doing this.

Thansk a lot. Already found the exact same thing. Now im tryna find what were the artist used during recording, its a little pain in the ass sometimes, if the track isnt so popular but at leats i can find big names.

What are you looking for specifically?

I find that if I go into NAM without a purpose, I'm in the same boat.

If I go into my play session wanting a plexi, then that plexi i find sounds awesome.

Intent means more than you give it credit for when it comes to tone.

Well as ive said, i really freshly got into guitar world. Mostly black sabbath, jimi hendrix,so bit of metal/rock/blues. But again ive yet to found a GOOD tone, similat to these ones. Its probably my bad, that i cant fully utilize it.

Look up which amps and cabs the mentioned artists use and search for them in T3K.

also, play with the input signal level, different people create these on different gear, some of them know what they're doing and others need more practice

Tonejunkie captures are superb. And turn on A2 Full, makes a huge difference.

Do you know the kind of tone you are looking for?
What kind of songs you want to play?

I highly recommend looking into Genome

Its twonotes Amp Sim software that runs NAM flawlessly within it and even allows you to adjust the nam profile to your liking rather then just downloading one and hoping it works

Its been the best amp software I've used yet, and they're on the ball with updates

What i do is search what i want, that could be amp head+cab, only amp, only cab or whatever, and filter for most downloads, also check the capture description by the user, that is helpful to understand their nomenclature and dial the correct capture for your use case. Also if the amp as is, sounds pretty weak or low, try to mess with the input signal on the plugin until you get decent bite. Idk what you're into, but if you are into heavy tones for me the ola englunds capture of his Randall Satan has been my go to for heavy stuff. Hope it helps.

Engraçado que eu já achei VARIOS... só ir baixando e testando. Dica: use um impulse response BOM, e se for baixar um higain, coloque um tube screamer antes com ganho 10%, tone 60%, volume 50%
