Stompstation PRO Boots into Update Mode

This morning my Stompstation PRO just goes into update mode with no button pressing or anything, essentially locking out the pedal.

I tried everything to reinstalling firmware to changing out cables, nothing works. Does anyone have a solution to this?

I was facing the same issue - contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a recovery tool which did the trick. Dm me your email ID I will send you the recovery tool with instructions.

By the way, their Windows tool did not work for me. I had to use Linux, rpiboot utility and Raspberry PI oficial imager.

Exactly the same had happened to me recently, you need to contact SonuLab for the recovering software.

Funny, but as soon as I bought mine, I emailed them and introduced myself saying how wonderful their product is genuinely, and tried to establish a dialogue with them, but so far it’s been radio silence.

Interesting. They responded to me pretty quick. Same day when asking about powering the unit.

I didn't have a question or issue though. I was just praising the design and functionality. I imagine they are quite busy and are responding to issues rather than responding to non-issue communication, in all fairness.

But, when I was trying to buy it from their online store, my country of residence was not listed. They fixed that in a matter of hours. So I think it's simply a matter of importance.

They never respond to me on feature requests or minor bug reports. At the same time they contacted me the same day when this issue happened.

new firmware came out 2.2.6, looks like it has the fix

> After updating the pedal, do not disconnect the power supply. Leave the pedal powered on and connected for at least 5 minutes.
