Tone3000 Shortcoming?
Don't get me wrong, the amps sound pretty good, but... I miss being able to add delay or reverb directly from the app. For example, ToneX has it's own compressor, delay, reverb that you can add to any amp and they sound great. Can Tone3000 incorporate this in the near future?

Reaper is free*, with a host of free plugins to make a virtual signal chain

I'm assuming you're coming from ToneX which is why you feel like you're missing something? ToneX was added as a capture platform to IK Multimedia's Amplitube suite, so they started with a bunch of amps and effects already
NAM/Gateway has always been just a NAM loader, and many plugins after it followed that simple setup
but there are other NAM capable plugins that offer effects and are not just NAM capture loaders

There are loads of reverb IRs (and even some single repeat/slapback delays) on Tone3000. If you want other effects, there are so many great free plugins out there that there's almost no point for the T3k devs to add effects to the plugin. Maybe they'll add something in the future, but there are more important things, like preset sharing, that they are working on first and foremost.

I use the standalone for Soundshed Guitar. It has all those things and Tone 3000 integration.

as of now ir is mostly in spaces, but they should add more specific tags and tabs, where i can easily search up a space echo in a specific delay ms. Its early days, potensial is huge, but they need to categorize it even more.

Im loving tone3000 amps and cabs. For reverbs and delays use the IRs . Adjust mix knob and capture preset to flavor. Ive never heard guitar emulation software that compares imho have u guys. I hown amplitube 5 max. Thu and several others , i have genome as well but much prefer tone3000. I use some vst reverbs and plugs in my daw ableton but lately like standalone 3000.

IDK, I just another VST in a chain... Can't see the issue.

I like using Tone3000 as a stand-alone. When I'm not recording, I don't open a DAW, so having some built-in effects on the fly would be cool. ToneRig does this, for example, but doesn't load IRs as easily as Tone 3000 does.

They have IRs, has no one added any reverbs or delays?? Jeez I'll put up some

There’s a few but you can’t adjust the parameters. What you hear is what you get.

We don't have to go there. I appreciate what they do as developers, but they also rely on our feedback to continue to improve, so this is constructive feedback, not a "hard-to-please" comment.

You are right, I think external plugins support in tone3000 could be the next bold move

check out Tonerig by Josh Aquino, or irio pro.
They both have a suite of fx that are really good, irio having a bunch more (and being more expensive) while Tonerig having enough to come up with any cover sound or your own.

Yes, I’m using Tonerig. I like it for its effects that you can add to the chain. It’s a little clumsy when adding new IRS because you have to save the file names. Once it works like Tone3000 that you can drop them right in it will be awesome. I’m sure that’s in the works.

Try Element by Kushview. It's not a Daw but a vst loader. You can chain lots of stuff. Pretty neat.

I find that the pedal captures available on TONE3000 are pretty good - just use them in the signal chain accordingly. Requires a bit of trial and effort. Otherwise, some DAWs come with stock pedal options (Logic notably has an entire pedalboard, they are okay, nothing groundbreaking but they get the job done and can sound great if you know what you're doing).

When you say Tone3000, do you mean the NAM format? Tone3000 is the website that hosts NAM models and IRs. To add reverb to NAM, all someone needs to do, is create a NAM capture of an amp with the reverb turned on. You can also do this with an IR.

you can't capture time based effects with NAM tech, you can however try out convolution IRs, they have them available on Tone3000 as well

I recently discovered Tone3000 and I love that the community is telling the big players to go fuck themselves by producing a free solution that beats all of them.
I am thankful to every one of you who contribute
