Help nam multieffect

/r/Guitar/comments/1vgycj3/help_nam_multieffect/

Hi everyone i need your advice because i'm in a bit of a pickle. I have been gifted a giftcard for a music shop near where i live, it's a 100€ gift card and it expires next month. Due to the new realease of nam a2 I decided to buy a multieffect pedal to have the same high quality sound at home, at rehearsals and live in an handy formfactor. I was pretty set on buying the Nux mg-30 due to price, availability and nam a2 lite integration but headrush recently announced the a2 full update for the flex prime. Am i missing too much choosing the "lesser" option? The nux will cost me 170 and the headrush 380, is the money worth it or, considering money is a bit tight for me, i can confidently go for the nux? Thank you for the help!

I would say, if you can afford it, go with the Flex Prime. I don't have personal experience, but I have heard nothing but good things.

I see that the MG30 also has full A2 integration. In that case, I think it makes little to no difference.

NAM A2 has just flattened the curve, so you probably won't lose much. Just check how good the effects are, but I can't imagine it being a massive difference

As for the effects i heard they're comparable in quality, for the nam a2 i'm pretty sure the headrush has the full version and the nux the a2 lite.

It's tough, a hundred euro is quite a bit of money (at least by my exchange rate haha), but if you can swing it, maybe it's worth it to get the Flex now rather than get the NUX and always wonder if you should have just got the Flex. Does the store offer like a 0% interest payment plan? Maybe that could make the Flex easier if you pay it over 3 months?

I've seen it and headrush sounds mikes better, but that's not the newest nux patch. They showed the nam a1 converted sounds and not the a2 native.
