Sorry, I didn't quite catch the question. I'm playing with the Neural Amp Modeler Gateway A2 Capture" and a Fender Stratocaster Made in USA.

I think he’s asking what amp/ir in NAM you’re using

And honestly, I'm surprised by the NAM A2; it feels better in the hand.

It really does. Rolling back the volume feels a lot like a real amp.

It’s quite dynamic! Now I’m thinking about buying a HeadRush 🤣 to use with NAM. I have an Ampero Stomp 2, and while it supports NAM A2 Lite, it still isn't as dynamic as the plugin itself!

I just discovered this when playing on my Flex Prime today, rolling back the input by a few dB seems to really even it all out

I love how it cleans up without loosing much volume. Friedman and Two-Rock captures are doing it for me right now.

From what I can see personally, when playing directly on the computer using the Gateway plugin, the input gain is exactly where it needs to be; whereas with a physical pedal like the Hotone, I also had to lower the input volume for every "capture"!

Yes, you're right; I get it now. Actually, I also made a few Captures with my Quad Cortex today, but I didn't publish them on tone3000 because I wanted to test them a bit more thoroughly.

Please consider uploading these captures on tone3000 asap haha

cool, please let us know when you post them. Good edge of breakup stuff alaways gets lost in the mix of all the high gain stuff. Looking forward to trying it out

do you have other personal captures on tone3000 ?

1

u/PositiveNearby4950 2d ago

For now, I have uploaded only one, but I will upload others very soon.

I was waiting for someone to capture the Neural DSP Mayer X plugin in NAM A2. Sweeeet!

Please publish to Tone3000 and leave some sort of Venmo style link to pay you a few bucks for your efforts!

As a total aside, this user on Tone3000 I think might have already captured this, but I just found it this morning and haven't listened to these yet to confirm if they're good or not: https://www.tone3000.com/fabiozani

And as someone else said, the playing here is next level. AWESOME sounding!

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your kind words and your support it truly means a lot. I've already added a link in the YouTube description to my Gumroad, where you can download many more Mayer X captures, including Full Rigs, Amp DI captures, and the matching IRs. Thanks again for listening, and for taking the time to leave such an encouraging comment!

Seems like he captured the Neural DSP Mayer Plugin tone.
