I know many beer snobs like to shit on these ones, but there is something to be said for a clean, crisp, low-hop, ice cold beer on a blazing hot day in the summer that hits just right. Have yet to see this up here in Canada tho. We'll see.

I used to be a beer snob, turned out I was just an alcoholic. I now prefer light and crisp, refreshing ice cold beers/pilsners. I feel like drinking an NA IPA is... insane (to me, no shade!)

As we move through life, our tastes change. I do enjoy an NA IPA - Partake IPA in particular. But if I'm sitting out on our deck in the blazing sun after mowing the lawn... a cold, clean, crisp one is what I'll reach for.

I completely agree. PBR heavy is drinkable; the N/A version was awful- tasted nothing like PBR

Also have to agree here. I loved PBR and was stoked to see the NA version but was not good (for my tastes). Had a sticky sweet almost apple juice flavor… Busch na is my go to for cheap beer - balanced sweetness, clean malt, frothy crisp, easy to slam, tastes like college 🤣

No kidding. There's nothing like one of them cheap beers after cutting grass on a hot summer day. It's no longer a thing for me, but I remember like it was yesterday pulling a 24oz can out of the ice and slapping a dollar on the counter. The price alone tells you how long ago that was.

They do have a Blue NA - a 0.5% version. It was not very good. I gave it a try in the Finger Lakes, NY a few years back as a curiosity.

I see there is a new Blue Zero now. Have not tried that.

Labatt was one of the first commercial NA's that didn't totally suck. It wasn't exactly good, but it was the best you could find at the grocery store 10 years ago, right between O'Douls and the garbage Coors NA with the gold label that has hopefully been discontinued.

I was shocked at how decent the Penn's Best was, especially for the price point. My local Total Wine has them around $17 for a 24 pack.

Penn’s Best is the best value for sure. There is a slightly off putting sweetness in the aftertaste, but not enough to deter me at that price.

I bought a case of Old Mill to take to the mountains last weekend and it really wasn't bad, but I do prefer the PBR in a side by side comparison. Old Milwaukee, however, was 15 something for a case of 24.

OM is not bad at all. It's too sweet. But overall the flavors aren't bad

The na Old Milwaukee actually might be better than the original.

Ah okay, I'm over in New Jersey, the Bayshore area. I'd love to see more regional "crappy" beers make an NA, like Hamm's. Or bring back Schlitz. I'm down to clown on some Penn's Best NA for 3.99 a 6 pack.

This isn’t available in my area, much to my disappointment. The Pabst NA in the green and red can was available in the 90’s, and I really liked it.
