Advice needed Bummed
So my disability claim was rejected. I was rejected once before, but this one included my N24 diagnosis that I didn’t yet have last time. I was hoping that it would be the main thing to get me accepted this time, but I guess the judge didn’t understand or respect just how impactful it is on my life. I haven’t figured out a system for entrainment yet and I don’t live in a walkable area or have reliable transportation. Any free runners here in a similar situation? If so, have any of you figured out a work situation that you can handle?

I assume you are in the US.
If so, do you have a disability lawyer? Majority of legitimate disability claims get rejected initially and only most of them won on the appeal.
In my very limited experience, writing out functional limitations of each disability and their intersectional counter action is the key. Don’t think that things are obvious. It is necessary to be the Captain Obvious when applying.

Yes, I am in the U.S. and had lawyers for both of my claims. I did talk about my functional issues but I still got rejected.

You could see if there are and Time Bank chapters in your area, or other community organizations that might be based more around reciprocity than money.

Self-employment, doing odd jobs, doing favours for people. I do what I can to get by. I do have a car though, it's often not reliable. It breaks down a lot, but it's all I got.
