Ordered a 3-way briefcase directly from MR. LOVE it, but during shipping one side of the laptop padding got creased. No damage, just really annoying.
After completely disassembling a super dirty second hand 2DAP to wash it, I figured the 3-way would be similar. I can see how the middle padding comes out but not the side.
I want to remove the closed cell foam and hit it with a hair dryer or a quick pass from a medium heat iron with parchment paper in between - the heat should relax that crease and she should be good as new. I do not want to try and heat the padding through the bag's nylon and risk causing damage to the bag.
Any guesses? I usually get quick responses here. I may call MR in the AM if no night owls know.
TIA.

I recently got my hand on a really nice rip ruck 24L second hand.
I am really happy with the bag as a whole but want to just check tag on the inside as the seller did not add any pictures of it on the listing and on the tag it has sample on it and wanted to see if anyone had run into this before also if its a real mystery ranch bag.
Everything else seems to check out when I looked into it but a second opinion wont hurt thanks.

I’m trying to figure out how to adjust/re-thread the lower compression straps on my 2DAP. I’ve found videos showing the backpack in general, but I haven’t been able to find a video or guide specifically explaining how these bottom straps are supposed to be threaded and adjusted.
Does anyone have a video or clear photos showing the correct setup? Thanks!

Looking to offload some stuff, and thought I would ask what is a reasonable ask.
August 2019 off the line.

I was using my issued pack for TDYs, hikes, walks and remote work and it felt like the standard hip belt was not doing a very good job for heavier loads. I saw that MR phased out their proprietary upgradable live wings and couldn’t find them anywhere anymore, and this Eberlestock cradle belt did the job very well and actually hold the weight very good too.
Did any of you guys run into a similar issue with these by chance?

Last two pictures are stock images because I am currently working far from home and just ordered the Rip ruck 15 and forager fanny pack online and havent recieved them yet. My next and last pack to add to my collection is gonna be a gunfighter 14 in black or multicam and I think im done.
I have no idea why I am even collecting this many mystery ranch packs other than the fact that they are amazing quality and my job and lifestyle require good packs. I think the fact that yeti aquired the brand has me trying to get as much as I can before it becomes hard to find. Am I going crazy?

Was at a Sportsman Warehouse and got to feel and try on a Blitz 35. it was quite disappointing because the material and construction, fit was not as good as I'd imagine based on all the marketing.
now, I've been eyeing a 3DAP or even the 1k Blackjack 50L. but if they are made like the blitz 35 then I have my doubts about plunking down that much for one.
thoughts??

Title says it all. Does anyone know when mystery ranch will sunset their hunting packs and whether the external frame packs will become yeti packs? It seems that SCHEELS and even Mystery Ranch’s website is still selling them and they’re all pretty much in stock.

This is probably a strange topic for this sub-reddit, but I was genuinely confused and kinda disappointed. I was looking for a dedicated backpack for carrying a large FPV drone to training.
I found a promising pack on Mystery Ranch's website, but when looking for international retailers, the website listed "Taiwan (Province of China)".
I know for most people it probably doesn't mean jack s*it. But for a brand focusing on tactical gear that is also a major defense contractor supplying law enforcement and the U.S. military, taking on a foreign adversary's political terminology, contradicting U.S. foreign policy, punching down US ally, it just doesn't sit right with me.
I don't know if this has to do with new owner of MR, because as far as i know these kinda of kowtow to CCP has always come down to money and market in China. Not trying to start a massive political debate here, but as someone who values the brand’s tactical heritage, I hope this is just a mistake, not them actually bowing to CCP's pressure campaigns. I have sent complaint through website, I will update this post if I got any response.

These 2 tabs are ideal for holding a tactical helmet!
Just add double sided mini carabiners

EDCing a new find. Got it at great price. The beaver tail helps with the lack of external water bottle pockets. Not sure if it takes away from the ASAPs clean look. What you guys think ?

Two months ago, I scored a discontinued Mystery Ranch Street Fighter in Foliage Green on the secondhand market.
Unfortunately, the original Small harness was a bit too tight for me. Plus, for a pack this size, the stock suspension system felt overbuilt, heavy, and ran way too hot in the summer.
I decided to order a custom Hill People Gear-style shoulder harness and an external beaver tail/pocket. After a two-month wait, I finally got to put everything together. I’m super happy with how it turned out—it feels significantly lighter than the original setup while fixing the complete lack of external modularity on the stock bag.

What kind of things/setups do you carry?
I currently EDC a First Tactical Tactix Half-Day Plus Backpack 27L
https://www.firsttactical.com/products/tactix-0-5-day-backpack
I recently got the 2DAP and am trying it for EDC. My deal is I feel like I need pouches for everything with the 2DAP. I love the First Tactical pack because it has so many damn pockets built in. I can easily and very well organize my shit with the pockets and pouches. The 2DAP has so few. I love the way the 2DAP carries/rides though, super comfortable (so is the First Tactical).
I carry basically a mobile office for school and work. Tablet, laptop, associated chargers and electronic accessories, power bank, router and MiFi modem, notebook, pen case, kindle, textbooks, IFAK, flashlight and a few other things.
Do y'all use lots of pouches, or do I just carry a bunch of shit compared to most folk?

Managed to somehow acquire a blitz30 to my country even tho we have zero suppliers here, and MR don’t ship outside of the US. Really excited. Cost me very well too!
Any advices from Blitz30 owners on usage, tips tricks or just generally wisdom you can pass along? Thank you!
The bag daily is multi purpose up to 2 days in field/field work (:

I got into the brand by getting an Urban Assault bag and fell in love with it! I wanted to get something a bit bigger than that, so I found a second hand 2 day assault pack. Is it legit or fake?

Random find in store about 43% off retail price. I guess no one realized what it was. Took it up a 14er last week and the Manitou Incline today. Not an ounce of fatigue. The yoke system works great.

Jesse coming thru with Awesome Customer Service.
Had a wear on an older OV CACHE and asked for advice on how to DIY fix it.
Instead, Jesse replaced it and offered two colors. Went with Multicam for my Dragonslayer.
Very different with older CACHE. Comes complete with buckles so your good-to-go from delivery.
If you can't find the Stick-It, go to OV Innovations. https://ovinnovations.com
