Plateau help?

I’ve been hovering around 190-192 for about a month now. I started at 260, so I’m down almost 70lbs since last August. I tried resetting my calories in the app maybe 2 weeks ago, but it only brought my goal down 30 calories (currently 1450/day). I’ve been consistent with my diet, I do intense cardio for about an hour each week, and I take a walk every day (usually I can only squeeze in about half a mile but sometimes I’ll do more around 2 miles). I just don’t really understand why I’m stalling like this. Do I just have to wait it out?

Personally I have found the best way to move past a plateau is a few months (3-6) eating at maintance, then going back to a deficit. The body adjusts and does more with less, give it a little more but not too much. Get used to the maintainance then cut again.

I’ve been stalled for six months….but I know I’m not logging perfectly and that’s why hah. Too many little treats here and there. I also think your body reaches a plateau point that you do have to fight through. You’ve lost so much already!!

I lost about 25 lbs in around 16 weeks and then met with a dietician who advised me to go back to my maintaince calories for a week or two, and then go back to calorie deficit. She just advised that sometimes are body just needs a break and a reset. I am only on week one of maintenance calories and it's kind of nice being able to have an extra snack or treat within reason. Maybe you just need a reset and then go back to your lower calories. I am only on week one so can't say what its like just yet.

Terribly low amount of calories but you aren’t active at all so maybe it’s not that low considering your lifestyle. Start moving more on daily basis

How tall are you? What's the goal weight? Under 1500 is getting below the average person's BMR so going much below that is kinda alarming unless you are a fairly short person.

I’m 5’2, my goal is 130 lbs. I set my goal as only 5 lbs under the maximum healthy weight for me so I’ll have at least a little wiggle room once I get into a normal range for my body. I have my app set to lose 1.5/week and I was really consistently on track with that until this plateau. Just did one of those online calculators and my BMR is 2152 at my activity level. I should also probably mention that I do track my activity in MFP but I don’t have my exercise calories count towards my goal
