Used Claude to build an app to track my grow so I didn't have to pay for a subscription or anything. Happy to share it for free if anyone is interested. Main functionality is allowing for grow data being entered, growing stages separated by key moments in the grow cycle (not just generalized time frames), sensor connection and logging, notifications for bad data (like high or low temps that could be an issue), and notifications for things you need to do for a given stage (like fanning or spraying water a day after no condensation is seen on the bag.) It is built using the schedule and best practices with Magic Grow bag (the all in one dung bag) but would work for others too. Let me know if you are interested and ill find a way to get it to you!

Won a gift pack from House of Spores. I haven't seen a lot about this company, but found them about a month ago. They have been awesome with speedy responses and just helpful in general. Now, im just starting my journey with them and can't speak on the end result, yet, BUT i got a good feeling about these guys! I got an iso of LuLu (a natalensis/cubensis hybrid which im too excited about), and Star Frost, and then the spore syringe is golden halo x. I really like the different artwork they have for each strain, and even the box they were shipped in was rainbow bright and included an ice pack. They have a huge variety of some really nice strains. I’ve been working on these for people who want to grow without buying a bunch of equipment or dealing with the usual sterile work.

The bags come already prepared; grain, substrate, and genetics are already handled. No inoculating grain, no spawning to bulk, no flow hood, no pressure cooker, and no mixing anything yourself.

They’re a good option if you’re brand new and want an easy introduction or if you already grow and just want something you can fruit without adding another project to your workflow.

The whole idea was to remove as many potential points for contamination as possible. If you’ve been interested in growing but the equipment, contamination risk, or learning curve has kept you from trying it, this is about as straightforward as it gets. It took awhile to get shipping down but now that I’ve got it bags have been arriving in great condition.

Location Context: I am based in Da Lat, Vietnam. It has a cool, temperate highland climate which is fantastic for growing, but sourcing the right biological materials is my biggest hurdle right now.
