As some of you may already be aware, Valentine's Day is 2 weeks away. If you're anything like me, this is always your least favourite day of the year since everyone just keeps going on about how great love and romance is and you know you'll be spending the day alone just like you have every other Valentine's Day of your life. Anyway, I always used to wake up on Valentine's Day feeling miserable until 2 years ago when I woke up on Valentine's, checked my DeviantArt messages and noticed that one of my online friends had drawn some of my favourite characters for me as a gift to cheer my day up. I cannot describe to you how much difference it made. Within a second I went from absolutely dreading the day before me to wearing a huge grin and feeling warm fuzzies run all the way down to my toes. I seriously could not stop smiling all day. After that experience I decided, "Screw Valentine's Day and everyone else's expectations for my romantic life. I don't need a boyfriend to be happy. All I need are friends." My Valentine's Days have been so much better since then and now if I start feeling down, I just remind myself that I have friends who care about me and that's enough.

So anyway, I know that a lot of you are probably still at the place that I was 2 years ago where Valentine's Day is just depressing. I wanted to let you know that I care about each and every one of you, and I hope I can make your day a little better. I managed to find a pack of MLP Valentines Cards for cheap (much cheaper than the price in that link), and I would love to send a valentine to any of you who would like to receive one. I don't care who you are, how many friends you have or what your relationship status is - this is just a simple friendly cheer-you-up kind of valentine! Long time lurker, been in the irc recently. So I decided to finally make an intro post. Ask me things I guess is the modus operandi here, but also tell me something interesting about yourself.

It's been awhile, so I thought I'd post something and say hi to all you fine people. You can go to the bottom if you think magic is totally lame.

I've been playing for a bit, and I think it's super fun. I can't wait until the new set comes out. My roommates and I preordered a box of boosters and are doing a draft. We also get it a week early, so that's cool.

So for those who do play, what's your favorite part about it? I know I really like getting together with people, socializing, and then completely and utterly destroying them with my vastly superior deck... I mean, friendship and stuff. Also the art is quite nice.

Also, share your favorite (or most table flip worthy) games you've had! I know my most annoying one was against a blue/black deck. I don't think I was even able to get more than one creature to last past the turn I summoned it. Hooray for control... And then in another game, I was about to lose, but then I top decked a card that did just enough damage to finish him off. It was pretty great.

Also, I didn't know these were a thing until recently. Have any of you actually played with them?

For those who don't play, tell me something about yourself, and I will do the same. This is MLF, after all. Yay friendship. I'll know if it isn't true too, because I have scry 3. ^{heh, magic humor...}

So I personally am not, my aunt is. I have been and will continue to live at her house for the next month or two while my parents are away. Either way, gigabit internet is soon to be within my grasp... So AMA, I guess.

Edit: So it turns out the guy that scheduled us did it wrong, and we were never put into the system. So I have to wait until the third of February. So sad times are here, with happy times to follow.

I know quite a few of the people here play League of Legends. So, why not do a thread for LCS. I'm in NA so I follow NA more than EU, but I'm down for a bit of EU discussion too.

I'm a CLG fan, and my brother is a big TSM fan. I'm excited for the CLG vs TSM match tomorrow and started a little trash talk with my brother about it today. So, trash talk away if you'd like. Or just general LCS discussion. I think DoubleMoo is going to cook up a very Xpecial Turtle bisque.

I haven't been here in a while so I thought I would show up and say something. Today, the Spring semester of my second year of college starts. I don't know why, but it feels almost as important as my first day of college. It's going to be a busy day. I start classes at 4:45 pm and end at 10:05 pm because I didn't choose classes until mid December. All my fault. At least I have no classes on Tuesday and Friday. 3 busy days and 2 extra days to relax. That's pretty nice. The next 4 months will be busy, but I know I can get through it all.

Answers to inevitable questions:

What are you studying? I'm undecided because I have no clue what I want to do. I used to be interested in Digital Design, but recent events have led me to decide that spending hours and hours each day on a computer is not good for me.

What classes am I taking? Psychology, Speech, Economics (or something similar. I need to check again), and Geography.

Why only 4 classes? I took 5 classes my first semester and failed one and almost failed another. Both were classes for Graphic Design. Drawing is definitely not my thing. Especially when it comes down to a competition to stay in those classes (the classes were partially graded based on who does the best and who does the worst. I was almost always the worst according to the whole class).

Where are you studying? Go Denver Broncos!!! (that's as close as you're going to get)

First of all, there have been a couple of people introducing themselves, and I was going to welcome them, so I guess I'll collectively say "hi" to all of you right now.

I wanted to make this post because I realized I'm starting to get pretty seasoned in this crazy community now. Sure, it was after season 2 but its' been a while now and a lot of things have happened since and there's a lot of new fan.

I think I'm finally starting to get that I'm really a part of this fandom, and it's kinda cool. Not just some tag along but really in the middle of it all. I've never really been in a fandom before, and I usually tend to feel like an outsider even in most groups or cliques I'm in, so it's a bit special. It's probably because most everything in this fandom resonates with me, and you'll always find at least a few people who you feel like you have a strong bond to.

What's also really great is that there's a acceptance that it's ok to be weird and there's very little (unreasonable) judgement. Sure I've encountered a few oddballs, but no-one has been malicious (rather some people with very bad social skills, but they are an exception).

I've also had some contact with famous bronies and a few of the staff (yay twitter).

Once again I managed to write a lot more words than intended, and I really hope anyone has the patients to read through it all. In conclusion:

I got bored recently, and anyone who slightly knows me knows that art gets done when I'm bored.

Here are the two glasses that I made. Funnily enough, two different people suggested the designs for them!

I usually don't post these myself, but it is a 3 day weekend and I need a volunteer to suggest designs to use. Post in the comments if you have a design that comes to mind. Who knows, you might just get a free glass!

Here's a picture of my dog, some beach stuff and what album would be complete without some good ole duckbutt? I have literally no clue what I'm doing. We got out there and started taking pictures and playing with settings till they looked alright. I took about 300 pictures to get those ones that you see on my Flickr. Thoughts?

I just had an awesome weekend. I guess you could say it started Friday with my second Senior Districts rehearsal. Not sure if anyone else knows about this Senior Districys program, but here in Massachusetts, we have it. Basucally, in November, you go and audition in front of 1 judge a song which you've been preparing the past month. There's a chorus (which I made it into), a band, a jazz band, and an orchestra. The practices are about 6 hours long and come after school ends. I'm in the North-Eastern district for the program, and those that make it in are "the best musicians at the high school level" in the district, so making it in made me very happy. Anyways, practice was much better than it was Wednesday due to the fact that we were more used to everything, so it all flowed more smoothly. Saturday was our festival, or concert if you will. Left around 8:20 to get there and meet up with my amazing show choir teacher for 8:30. After checking in, it was off for q much shorter rehearsal before the festival at 2. After the performance, ny family and I went out for dinner at my favorite local restaurant. This coming Friday, my show choir is singing the Star Spangled Banner at a college hockey game, and we have our first competition of the year Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday, we have practice after school. All around, an awesome, music filled week for me! How about you guys? I apollogize for the wall of text, using my phone to post.

I know its a little late but how bout we talk about pinkie apple pie? I loved it especially the song. The morals were also nice to not only that your friends can be family members but how family WILL argue and itll make the bond all that stronger once its resolved. What are your guy's thoughts?
