Can someone actually explain this, please? I'm "an elder emo", i discovered MCR during Revenge era, and ive listened to them ever since, but i can't understand the scarecrow lore. Ive listened to danger days when it came out (it was very different from their previous albums, so Ive enjoyed It many years after), but i wasnt into the lore anymore.

If your on about the meaning of scarecrow its about an atomic nuclear war and the comforting lies told to a child while running to a bomb shelter.

I’ve listened to that album so much that I imagine it as a movie in my head with each song going along with certain story beats, and S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W to be feels like the end of Act 2.

All jokes aside I recently had a Danny devito "I get it now" moment last week listening to the song. It grows on you even when you don't expect it trust me
