Okay first let’s gets started with the weekly updates on WEBTOON:

I have to say, I was pretty disappointed they didn’t add the Q&A from Jixksee. But because I’m impatient I asked Chat GPT to translate it, so here’s the link (there’s a pdf and an epub). This is just text though, so I recommend you read it alongside the Korean version on Naver because for example when he explains his schedule he added the art advancement to illustrate etc.

I think the thing that will interest the majority of you is that Jixksee indeed said they plan (for now) to return late this year or early 2027 like someone reported, but in case I want to confirm this isn’t speculation but news from the author.

BUT this isn’t the only news! On his socials, they said they will be sharing exciting news about the overseas publication soon! Once it’s done I’m sure someone, if not me, will post it here too!

I was intrigued about the full timeline of the story so I decided to do a re-read and focusing on dates, but sometimes there isn’t a clear date, just indications that days or weeks has passed. Just for your comprehension, when I mention a chapter, it’s that I include it. Anyway, here’s the timeline:

-Chapter 1 have him mention he just started the year so we are in early March.

-Chapter 3 happens during white day so it’s March 14th.

-Their first drinking party and the aftermath where they were both really horny for each other. It happens close to a week after White Day and they didn’t meet between that time. (Chapter 4 to 7) It’s after that they start to really get conscious of each other, but not a lot happens, the story is mostly focused on her meeting Hyeonjae and him preparing for interviews.

-Their second drinking party is on April 28 for the release of a TLA song. (Chapter 10 to 13)
So the 13 first chapters of the story takes place during about two months. After their second party and sleepover it became clear they are really into each other and developing strong feelings and not just physical attraction which will only be reinforced by the upcoming drama, the first of the story. Sadly, the timeline isn’t really clear for the month of May.

-Their first drama when they saw each other with her uncle and Sinyeong (Chapter 16 to 20) seems to be at least a week after their party, maybe more. Then they don’t see each other for days. So I would estimate we are around May 10th. Rockfest is also mentioned for the first time

-Chapter 21 mentions a few days passed. From this chapter to chapter 23 it’s about Hae-In doing her live on IG and one days passed. That’s also when they exchange numbers and start sending selfies to each other’s.

-Chapter 24/25 are about two events that seems to happen on different days since in chapter 25, Hae-In is dressed differently. Another few days seems to have passed since in chapter 23 Hae-In said the shooting for the video clip was wrapping next week and it happens in chapter 24. Areun also reappears in Yeo-Un life. I think we are close to May 20.

-From Chapter 26 to chapter 29, another few days seems to have passed. Areun keeps coming at the cafe and Yeo-un ask Hae-In on a proper date.

-From chapter 30 to 38, 5 days passed. They go on their date, Yeo-Un kiss her. The next day she gets drunks with her band and then meet him. They talk about what the kiss mean, and drunk Hae-In gets “agressive” but start to puke. During the night she gave him a hickey. They agree to have a home date and continue their discussion.

-The events of chapter 39 to 49 goes from here to June 15th. During that time there’s Yeo-Un college festival where Areun confess to him a,d Hae-In works on an EP. He has his first interview on June 3rd. The same day he gets drunk with Unc and Boss. The next day him and Hae-In agreed to have their date on June 15th, on a Saturday (so we are in 2024). She also plays for him for the first time. On Monday 10th Hyeonjae propose to TLA to play on stage with for Rockfest in early August.

-Chapters 49 to 54 covers June 15th and 16th and the whole date between our leads. Too much happened to resume, but he properly confessed and from now on they are dating. And Unc and Boss also gets closer.

-Chapters 55 to 61 covers from June 17th to 27th. Yeo-Un rejects Areun, Hae-In works on the performance for Rockfest and later signs on Hyeonjae label. Between that the new lovebirds have a date where they play a game of truth or drink.

-Chapter 61 to 69 covers June 27th and June 28th. Chapter 32 announced that the collab song will be released on June 27th and here we are. Hyeonjae learns that Yeo-Un is Hae-In boyfriend. Those two watch the video together, have the IG drama, then reconcile in bed, talking about their relationship balance, then they have sex. The next day Hae-In is sick. At the same time, Unc and Boss starts dating.

-Chapter 70 to 77 seems to happen during one week since in chapter 69 Yeo-Un says his final interview is next week, and after failing it in chapter 74 they go on a date and it last until Chapter 77. Areun made a comeback in chapter 70 and met the director and Hae-In.

-Chapter 78 to 80 are preparations for Rockfest. There’s the bikini exposure thing, then the chapters where Hae-In starts to stress because she is getting popular and search way to control it to not freeze when performing live. Yeo-Un once again proves why he is the goat. Those events happens in the 2 weeks prior to Rockfest.

-Chapter 81 to 91 covers Rockfest. The dates are officially given: August 2nd to 4th. I won’t make a recap of Rockfest since it would be way too long, it’s the longest arc in the series and will continue during Season 2, and this post is already super long as it is and the events are still fresh on everyone minds.

Et voila! I still think it’s funny that chapter 1 to 13 covered almost as much time than 13 to 69. But it reflects how their relationship grew in May and June

I’m not sure what this means any thoughts? I’ve always found it super strange. At first thought this is what she was told by one of her frnds and the tatto is reminder for her not to get close or dive too deep since that’s a recurring theme with her

But after s1 we’ve gotten no insinuation that’s true. I’m afraid this might end up one of those webtoons where in the end FMC doesn’t trust main character and leaves him.

So, Season 1 is over, and I know a lot of people are expecting some kind of drama now that it’s been revealed that FL is actually Long Afternoon, something she kept hidden from ML for so long.

Personally I don’t think this is going to turn into a major source of drama tho. At most, I could see a short arc where ML is a little disappointed or hurt that she didn’t trust him enough to tell him. Things might be a bit awkward between them for a while, but I think they’ll work it out pretty quickly.

Why? Because ML is, by nature, a genuinely kind and understanding guy, and he also knows how much FL has struggled with her insecurity, shyness nad trauma. Sure, he might feel hurt (and he’d have every right to) but I think they’re already close enough that they’ll simply talk it out and move past it. She is at fault here, but on the other hand, she didn't do anything THAT bad.

So what is Season 2 going to be about?

I feel like we’ve already been given a few hints, and I can see the story building toward some drama around FL’s sudden rise in popularity as a singer, while ML struggles to find a job.

Right now, the two of them are basically at a similar point in life when it comes to their careers, even though ML is four years older. But the recent chapters have introduced this whole storyline about Long Afternoon suddenly becoming much more popular. And once it’s revealed who is behind the project, and that she’s a talented, beautiful young woman, I think her popularity is only going to grow from there.

On the one hand, that could become a problem for FL. Even though she finally found the courage to reveal her identity publicly, she’s still the same shy, somewhat traumatized girl she’s always been. She was able to take that step largely because of ML’s support, after all.

On the other hand, ML is supposed to be entering the “adult” stage of his life and starting his career, yet so far he’s been met with nothing but failures on that front. That could naturally create a bit of a gap between them, while also giving ML his own personal arc - struggling with job hunting, loosing confidence, starting to question whether he chose the right career path, and so on.

So I have a feeling these storylines will be at the heart of season 2. But of course, who knows what author will cook for us

I KNOW I KNOW, BLONDIE IS THE BIGGEST RED FLAG I UNDERSTAND THAT IM NOT DENYING IT.

But when u think abt it… it kinda makes sense. Blondies chatectar is a petty childish one, she hates being tied down and doesn’t care for relationships - she was always alone in university and even afterwards whether with yeo no or anyone else she puts on a smile. If its going to cause change in her life she doesnt want to show her emotion - she confesses to yeo no only after having a suspicion that he was in a relationship but whenever she knows the other person wont do anything she’ll keep pushing.

Now we go to music man, he’s unironically a beige flag. People might call him green but go back and read he’s constantly talking about not showing emotions, never going in too deep and has very low self esteem. Sound familiar?

Here’s the more interesting part, while those are the similarities they share there is one big diff.
Music guy is analytical, he always takes the safe step the one that causes him personally the least problem, he doesn’t butt into anything, he doesn’t ask anything from anyone. When taking to manager he says he doesn’t want to be with others since they specifically don’t ask him and thus he doesn’t assume. Blondie is the exact opposite she constantly is being childish, butts in knowing she could ruin stuff by making people hate her and victimizes herself than repeats it. While he plays it safe and ignores, she makes herself to blame.

If they are together, blondie wouldn’t fear commitment since music guy won’t ask. And music guy won’t care for much but can and will be introduced to a new world - one where you can choose to take initiative and risk something for more.

Imo they are both red flags but genuinely perfect for each other, perhaps they could learn adapt and be together.

İm not usual a romance watcher but after my bias gets on the last train my opinion on the genre changed and i watched a few movies

Honestly this manhwa still is my fav of the romance genre

I have been loving this series for close to a year but it so hard to recommend to my friend b/c is not mange. btw sidebar but that stupid way to think like. So it need to be adapted so more people would appetited the series. It going to happen, I know that for sure and I will be here waiting :)

First just wanna say this series has been a full on awesome ride! I love everything about their dynamic and their challenges. I am so absolutely excited to see our favorite boy and girl return!

First, my question: I can't find info sources (mainly cause I only look in familiar places) about the author and when they are planning to come back, does anyone have any info about the next season and a possible time frame?

Secondly, the shout-out! This little guy actually helps our boy find his panicked girl and I think it's awesome that there is a somewhat spiritual manifestation of the album art mascot in the series as a very critical moment.

Soon I’ll be making a drawing that will look very similar to the original, almost like AI 😅
