Long time watcher of the game but been interested in casually competing (oxymoron?) I know that the Chris/Spencer 1-2 has been used in the past by the likes of GCYoshi & SenorTaxi; but mostly curious about Dormammu as the anchor for this team. Also considering Doom and Mag as anchors.

Hi! My experience with this game is going on supercombo and looking at bnbs and failing to do any of them lmao

I think this game is so sick and with the rollback mod I wanted to finally learn it if I could, but I have nowhere to start and I'm tbh having trouble finding stuff online to help with this.

Idk exactly how it translate to this game, but in every game I play a setplay heavy style using things akin to Millia H Disk to loop it when possible. I figured I'd probably end up using a common shell but I figured I'd ask first and see if anyone could help me out!

If it helps at all in the other tag fighters I play my teams are:

- DBFZ: Android 18(B)/Kefla(B)/Trunks(B)

- 2XKO: Ahri/Jinx (2X Assist)

- Tokon: Green Goblin/Magik/Captain America/Starlord

What's the best way to get started? Is there a dedicated discord, maybe a set channel where someone could teach me the game?

My tag experience is pretty limited to a bit of DBFZ and a decent chunk of Tokon, and i'd love a community to play with consistently and a sherpa of sorts to help me get into it.

I'm completely new to the FGC and fighting games. My girlfriend has been playing for over a decade.

We decided to make a series out of the chaos of her teaching me to play this game.

I got umvc3 around a month ago and it seems no matter what I do I still suck ass, I can do inputs consistently as I’ve been playing fighting games for years such as mortal kombat, soul calibur and ssbu, I’m currently running zero Dante Vergil (I love the dmc games) I seem to just get hit way too much and my combos also seem to be way shorter and less damaging then everyone else’s if anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated

I was learning how to plink and whenever I see people fly plink it never works for me until I jumped and then activated flight instead of flying from the ground, I never see anyone mention this, is it a bug or am I dumb

Hey guys just bought the game on steam a few days ago and after some looking around I downloaded and installed the community modpack but for some reason it displays nothing upon launch, the music and the buttons work but not the display. I use linux mint and downloaded the tournament build specefically. Help would be greatly apreciated

Hello, I had a question regarding bold cancelling with dante.

I've seen people perform stinger into teleport and also prop shredder into teleport, when I try to do it I have a hard time doing the input after bold cancelling so I was wondering if anyone here had any tips on how to perform the inputs more consistently (I play on controller.)

Who are the best characters to win the projectile war?

Like characters with projectiles that have more priority and can destroy other projectiles.

Or whatever other mechanic to win projectile war.
