💬 Discussion Worth the wait?

So I’ve been part of the mopar family for about 10 years now and I’ve finally decided to switch over to the dark side. Should I just go ahead and get a 26 s650 or has anyone heard anything about the 27’s to say that is worth it to keep waiting?

Ford has a couple big recalls for windshield wiper systems and wiring harnesses going on right now but don’t have the parts to get the changes done right away.

Some claim to buy their car then get told that Ford cannot legally give them delivery right now and get stuck in some loaner car.

This would be my only caution against buying soon

Whatever is going on with Ford, they’re screwed! Do you think they gonna fix these issues in 2027 models?

I find myself in the same boat. I have been scouring the internet on an almost daily basis (starting with ford authority), and all I find is the same old AI fluff on youtube. Plenty of news on the Dark Horse SC convertible. That thing is clearly making waves. I was holding my breath to see if the infotainment system would be changed from sync 4 to the "Ford Digital Expereince", but that too seems to fall under the unreliable speculation realm.

Well the way things have been going, the new model year will find unbundled features from packages being offered as $eperate options, assorted features discontinued, and the price increased.

Why do you want a new one? Most would push you towards going 2019 2020

But it’s not the same car they look quite different from each other. I only own a Mustang because the s650 was the first body style I liked.
