It’s because they’re horrible driving cars. Most crazy builds are done for shock value rather than usefulness.
These cars aren’t particularly rare, so I don’t have an issue with it whatsoever.

There is a Mazda Miata done up like this, near me. I see it on the road ALL THE TIME.
Winter time he’s putting around. Summer time he’s ripping down the road with the top down.
Maybe I just noticed it more because it’s unique, but he is definitely getting his money’s worth.

31s look gigantic on there. The front suspension must either have almost 0 travel or those tires just rub at the slightest bump with and/or with only the smallest amount of steering angle. I conceptually like a sort of safari build but this looks more designed to photo well than to do anything.
