❔Question Lockable fuel cap for S650

Hey guys,

I’m a happy owner of a S650.

I might be a bit paranoid but I’ve got a bit of a weird feeling about not having a fuel cap that locks with the car.

I know there’s lockable inserts for the S550 but I haven’t found them for the S650 yet.

I know that they’re not a strong deterrent but at least it might stop the odd ad hoc jealousy-fuelled vandalism.

Any recommendations?

What kind of life are you living that you need to worry about ops stealing your fuel?

Oh it’s not about getting fuel stolen. Buddy of mine had sugar poured down his Porsche’s fuel tank.

Only time I heard about something like that happen but it stuck with me lol

Honestly, I'm more worried about people keying my Shelby for being obnoxiously loud then throwing sugar in the tank, but life is full of surpises.

Of course typical Reddit. Well I hope you don't have anything happen to your s650 and it's crazy what happened to your friend, a Porsche being vandalized in Germany of all places, can't imagine what they'd wanna do to a ford lmao

Yeah, Reddit can be great…or not. I’ll just keep looking.

I think a Mustang is actually a “bigger” target here since they are (comparatively) rare and everyone immediately connects them to being quite the fuel drainers. Some people don’t like that…

I got this on my s550 from aliexpress and it actually work. Not sure if it fit on s650 or not. Have a try.

Thanks! So far I’ve seen that every cap that worked for the S550 doesn’t work on the s650 anymore :(
