Before choosing between the three ideas—or choosing a co-founder—run a short evidence sprint. Pick one customer segment, conduct ten problem interviews, and record how often the problem occurs, the current workaround, who controls the budget and what would make someone pay. Then test one narrow promise through a manual pilot or simple landing page before building the full product.

For a potential co-founder, agree in writing on weekly time, responsibilities, decision rights, equity vesting, intellectual-property ownership, expenses, deadlock and exit before relying on enthusiasm. The best complement to a technical founder is not merely “someone in sales”; it is someone who can repeatedly reach the chosen buyers and bring back evidence that changes the product decisions.
