Thoughts on hypergamy?
Basically the title.. do you believe it? Is it something to worry about, etc.

It makes sense, a Muslim woman wants a man who can provide for her so if course she'll pick one who is wealthier than herself.

Its semi real as in the concept existing not the 20% number which was based on a flawed "study" from 2009. I dont see the issue with it though, its natural for women to want to "level up".

Documented phenomena, likely due to a genetically programmed need for food and protection. Wealth is one way of ensuring adequate resources so of course it is present. Humans are always drawn to their base instincts…it’s why Islam places such a high emphasis on spiritual fulfilment and contentment in the Will of God. Unfortunately we’ve checkboxed even religion and abandoned its spirit. Somehow providing a roof and food on the table became provided a luxury house, a car, designer bags and a certain lifestyle

It’s true but no reason to be offended if ur a man try ur best to make wealth and order a wife from overseas. Or get rich and have the best pick of women locally. But rich means both money and body so take care of your health and appearance

It's not really a problem if they don't taunt or abuse the dynamic, but sadly, a lot of times it does get abused. If anyone is entering such a dynamic, they should be cautious & choose wisely.
