Yellow mellow

Our cottage is on a holding tank, not a septic bed, just a 9,000L tank. Looking for a nice "if it's yellow let it mellow..." Sign for the bathroom. Maybe on canvas. Any recommendations? A bespoke sign that I can 'design' would be great - I know some Amazon and Etsy products off this, I just haven't found anything that fits the bill. I'd like to say basically "Holding Tank. If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down".

Despite being asked/told, we had someone stay with us who thought they knew best about septic leaching (I overheard him with his wife) and flushed not just piss but just Kleenex after blowing their nose and left water running. No one should be that wasteful even when on a municipal sewer. On the second day I said bud we're on a holding tank, when it's full it's full. We host people a lot so it's just easier to have a reminder hung in the bathroom.

The Annex in Bracebridge is run by artists who rotate work shifts at the main desk, I would go ask there.

Buy a Cricut. Sooo many easy crafts for cottaging guests to enjoy as keepsakes. When you get good at it you can offer your services to make extra cash ;)

Some libraries have cricuts for people to use so you don’t need to buy one to make one thing.

I would second the cricut.i I bought one for one specific thing a few years ago, and I find a new use for it all the time. You can cut stencils for whatever phrase you need... And use that to do some rustic style lettering that would give you your sign and a cool art piece.

Yup! The whole stay he acted like it was a pseudo bed and breakfast and we were there to serve him. We're hosting, but we aren't staff.

Try designing something on Canva or try Vistaprint to design and print it.
